I love how this video shows all the planning, preparation and work necessary for a flight and just how much work truly is required by these pilots and the ground crews as well. I also love that this Captain discussed what would be done if an emergency were to arise and made clear the responsibilities of each pilot and that they would work together as a team. Obviously two fine Pilots with a great attitude and they inspire you to feel confident that their passengers are in good hands with them.
Amazing flight planning, excellent CRM, situational awareness, sterile cockpit, emergency briefing.... this video should be used for training purposes!
This whole video from Toronto to Brussels and back with these two pilots was a joy to watch; it is one of my many favorite videos. I enjoy listening to and watching these pilots on everything. From the office to the plane, seeing and hearing how they do things are amazing. I love the whole walkaround; that plane is beautiful and amazing. Going back to the year 2011, and seeing that Air France 747 was amazing as well. Seeing the other planes was great too. Awesome takeoff that sounds amazing by these great pilots. The view outside these windows was amazing and beautiful. Awesome video; I love it.
SO AWESOME!!!!! I have never heard such an emergency briefing like this one for take off!!!!! Such pros and such a team!!! Would LOVE to fly with them any time!!!! Would like to see more of them together!!!! Thank You for the videos!!!!!
Thank you for this comprehensive video on pre flight procedures for the A330 300 Air Canada. My relative is also a captain of a A330 of another carrier. from Australia.
This Airport(Toronto Pearson International Airport) is near my house. I love watching Planes landing and taking off. As a Canadian, I salute all Air Canada.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Goddddd the captain sounds soooo professional, just look how effortlessly he is holding the yoke... Though being a pilot is my dream job, I'm afraid I won't be as good as the amazing pilots are
I saw the air France 340 crash in toronto. I couldn't see out the windshield of the car. Yet they tried to land. Traffic was at a stop on 401. To this day I do not know why they did not go around. And yes the smell of a burning aircraft is distinctive and I'll never forget it. Thankfully everyone lived. I'm like why is there an A-340 trying to cut me off lol.
2011, wow , over a decade ago. Good thing now pretty much all the charts needed for pre flights and briefings are all digitalised, takes away the need for lots of paperwork and stuff.
Yes Kevin, we post new and old videos. We've doubled our subscribers in the last 2 years and most people have not seen these videos so they enjoy watching them... ;)

I always trust a pilot who 'kicks' the tyres, thats a true sign of a pro.
It is very hard to notice if they are flat without kicking it.
19:45 these tires have almost no profile?
I love these videos that include the preflight briefings and walkarounds! Shows how much preparation there is for the flight :) thank you!
Yeah he’s an amazing captain, great attention to detail. That walkaround was a pleasure to watch

Glad you enjoyed that. Once in a while we show those things in details on you tube, they're generally on every program we produce. Thank you
He says Toronto Montreal Brussels, why Montreal, this is just 200 miles away from Toronto?
@@lenny108 I think they had regional flight before the long haul flight
Air Canada pilots - such pro's - and so friendly. Great vid! Wonderful to see everything going on pre-flight.
Such a demonstration of how emergency situation should be discussed, very rare these days!
This captain is the master on this flight.
and he doesn't wear makeup or have pretty hair or eye shadow. Proof, that makeup does not fly the plane. 😁

I remember that day. Indeed good that everyone made it out alive!
The Trent spool-up is one of the best.
Love how he kicks the tires!

I love the hopefully in the reject brief lol
Really great video. These pilots did a great job explaining things and taking us through preparation.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks
My kid is happy. Future inspiration
A magnificent video, thanks for the huge effort!
Looks like the wrong chocks were used on the main gear. The smaller blue chocks are intended for CRJ's. Captain has good taste...5 digit Rolex GMT!
:) 👍
Fab video, felt like I was part of the cockpit!
Fantastic emergency briefing, well done gents
Glad you enjoyed it Erick, thank you
Love the detail shown on this one! Keep them coming guys. Getting my license next year !
Great pilots...!! Very interesting video JP;)) thx for posting! Have a nice day)) greetings X Betsy.....
Don't forget to kick the tires during the walk around. It's the most important thing.
👍
WOW!! SECOND ONE! Let's fly together🛫🇰🇷
Interesting vid! Thanks for sharing
Great video !!
Great Briefing!Great Crew!
Nothing broken....no obvious damage......thank heavens for that...
👍
Tyres on the left hand gear don't look like there is much tread left on them
Awesome!
Absolutely incredible love this video absolutely amazing thanku so much love and God bless x
Thanks very much Wendy
@@justplanes you are so welcome x
If I ever fly again, I hope that Captain is the Pilot.
He retired in 2019! But I agree - he’s a true professional.
Dank you from Brussels
You are welcome!
Pilots doing a walk around is like a 7 year old checking a car before a family outing....
hahaha 👍
Hello Captain 👋 Good Job Keep It Up Fantastic Video Happy & Safe Journey Thanks 😊🙏
Thank you so much 😀
The briefing is more or less the same format I use for my flights in X-plane 😮
👍
Greetings pilots🇨🇦
Incredible that this A330 glasscockpit already looks outdated compared to the new airbus era.
Indeed, good point
Cool 😎👍
Yeah, kick the tires, everything ok. First time I've seen a pilot kick the tires.
haha right. On the Air Atlanta/Cargolux 747-400 I remember the pilot doing that too.
Does anyone know what static sound was that in the video?
Who said being a pilot 👩🏾✈️ 👨🏾✈️ 🧑✈️ isn’t a handy 🤚🏾 ✋🏾 🖐🏾 job? 🤷🏾♀️ 🤷🏾♂️ 🤷 MAJOR Salute ✊🏾 👌🏾.
Top 👍🇧🇷
This flight occurred in 2011
What does "heavy" mean in Flight# 832 heavy??
HEAVY indicates the aircraft is over a certain weight. May be 300K pounds but you can google the exact weight. Then it goes to SUPER for the A380.
AC still using paper Jeppesen charts?!!
aviation is one of the most dangerous transport
Did no one see the ramp guy drive underneath the plane? lol
Petrol ... interesting :¬)
Tell me , pilot is a good job
It is
Yes, it's a good (and interesting) job - but a very dangerous one. One of the most dangerous jobs in the world.
@@cyberscot4211 no way
My dream is become to a pilot
Me to
Yeah, 'I wannabe a pilot' ... almost as coveted and popular as 'I wannabe a pop star'. Yeah, such as dreams are made of 🙄
@@cyberscot4211 it all starts with wanting to be a pilot
I wanted to be one since I am a kid now I am
I just have to get to the airlines
If those were the tires/tyres on my car, it would be illegal.

El exceso de anuncios hace de sus videos una experiencia desagradable hay demasiados anuncios parece mas un teletienda que un video de aviacion.
this video may be so old just look at the computers
16 june 2029? huh
2011
hm I think I saw that too... not sure what that was but no we did not go into the future to film this :)
After watching this video I will never fly with air canada just look at the tyres they are all most flat. the plane should never take off
10 yrs old
A 'premiere', in other words 😄
