I miss flying that plane. Both CA’s are really professional and create an enjoyable work environment. I noticed that the date on the LDF (load final) was from 2011....they both now have more grey hair...haha.
Ha! Was a bit disappointed to be watching the instruments during rotation and take off, but you made up for it with an immediate “retake/replay” with an outside view. A very professional, smooth working crew.
Experienced pilots....I love there drive!!)) Praise for Air Canada.....always very cool!! Thanks for sharing with us JP;!)) Many sun greetings from here 🌟😎🇳🇱👍✈💕...X Betsy...
Text book. Maybe the only minor thing is the FO keeping the altimeter in inches of mercury and not changing it to HPA in Bermuda but I'm sure he knows his conversion. Other than that, just perfect.

@@TreeSymphony52 I'm pretty sure they start the APU after the walk around and some of the preflight stuff is done like programming the route. The APU uses a fair bit of fuel where ground power doesn't use any. They normally start the APU closer to push back as it is need to start the engines.
In the islands we always leave the APU on for the turns…need the air conditioning and since COVID we’ve used the APU on the ground for the entire duration that passengers are onboard.
During his walkaround, the FO stated: " We didn't see any birds on the way in, but that doesn't mean we didn't GO THROUGH some" . . . our poor avian friends are clearly expendable. We should remember; the skies are their domain, not ours 🦅

Thanks so much gentlemen, you are both professional and knowledgeable. Loved the sightseeing of the island. 🏝
Two great Professionals!
Loved the 727 in the distance at BDA!
High level professionalism = safety 👏🏼
I flew this route with AC on a DC8 in June 79. Had a fantastic view of NYC from 33k feet.

A plugged pitot tube can ruin you’re whole day. I’m glad that was the first thing he checked.

Great video although Bermuda isn't in the Caribbean - but they got there and back anyway! (My dad was born in Bermuda.)

How is this "premiered" in 2022 when it was filmed in 2011?!
Interesting to see all the paper, all over the place - iPads not yet in use.
So let's get this clear; they decided to use the plane for a personal sightseeing tour of Bermuda - WHAT !!! We never heard that, OK? 😉

I M wondering why the APU would be running that early (during the walk around) ? Would it not be on ground power?

@@andrewpate3437 thank you for the reply. It make sense now.
Experience shows.
هل تقصدون انكم متجهين إلى مثلث برمودا🤔
جزيرة برمودا. مثلث برمودا عباره عن خرافه لا وجود لها
The QNH was 29.78 from ATC but they had their setting at 29.79..........
The horror...
Is this filmed recently? If so you guys might want to consider upgrading the camera!
The date on the top of the slip of paper shown near the beginning of the video said 10MAR11, so I believe this was recorded in 2011.
Oke thanks!
Looking for some minor thing to complain about?
