You left off my brilliant green rasboras and now I can never watch the show again. Nah, I freakin' love this channel !!! You are absolutely killing it. Thanks so much
Thanks for the video! The rummy nose surprised me, gorgeous little guys! Though i hope in the future you'll consider using a script for your videos, I think it will help.
the personality of the Rummynose Rasbora was so evident that before you even mentioned it, that's what I was thinking. Eventually I'd like to have 100 .... lol Another fun video ..... thanks !
Big fan of rasboras! Funny story, when I was getting my first fish for a 10 gal I wanted the galaxy rasboras. LFS had some tiny fish listed as such so I grabbed them.... they weren't galaxies, they were Emerald Dwarf rasboras 🤦♂️ still have them and love them, even though I rarely see them. (I have since added actual galaxy rasboras)
I have a school of 9 chilis in a 6.8g with blue dream and blue jelly neocaridina shrimp. They're absolutely adorable and so personable. I've loved having them.
@@thesmallscape My only complaint about the blue shrimp is they can be VERY hard to see in a heavily planted tank. It's like a treasure hunt though when I sit and watch that tank. LOL
I picked up 15 of the Rummy Rasboras from you guys 3 weeks ago at the swap in Northbrook. They were in my quarantine tank until yesterday, and have now moved into their new 29 gallon home. During quarantine they were pretty shy, hiding behind the lone piece of driftwood, not really doing much. But now that they are in a planted tank, they have been extremely active. It looks like I have 8 females/7males and the males must be establishing the pecking order, their colors have already brightened and they are chasing the females all over. It's actually all they've been doing so far, haha. I dare say a couple of them look to be receptive to the dance. Very active fish and I love the two tone color of the males. They're gonna look gorgeous after they mature a bit. Thanks Joanna and Jason, these are a lovely addition to my tank room.
Thank you Joanna, I always like to hear your (and Bill’s) opinions on aquarium fish. Your videos are informative, entertaining, and encouraging, and I appreciate that.
Great choices. Even without a fancy scape, I still like seeing the fish you're talking about. I also like Phoenix rasboras and brilliant green. I just like rasboras in general. 👍❤️👍
Love my Chilli Rasbora! Farmer, Joe I just pulled up my second walk in greenhouse and I have some pepper plants started in the house. Can’t wait for spring to come. Unfortunately, yesterday we got 2 foot of snow.🤮
Hey Joanna, My favorite Rasbora is the Green Kubotai. I would love to breed them. I think the Ember Tetra, which is my favorite Tetra would look fantastic together with the Green Kubotai. The thing is the Green Kubotai is not available anywhere. I enjoyed watching. Thank you for sharing.
I have the green, chili, emerald and lamb chop rasboras. I think I might need those axelrodi... LOL... My Lamb chop rasboras are in a 36 Bow front....so not really a nano fish, but I still love them! Always love your choices.
Ooh, the rummy rasboras look amazing. I'm looking at a dither/schooling fish for my 36, and cherry barbs are high on the list. But I'm going to have to research these now! Lol.
Love the list, save for the Emerald. Too similar to the CPD just not as bold. I'd switch it out with the Espei. Still, I love a fishkeeper with conviction!
Thanks for the list! Awesome choices, all! I currently have 3 out of 5(6) in a tank living happily together (chilis, green kubotais, and one lone CPD who is testing to make sure that I can keep CPDs 😊) I can vouch for how stunning and fun they all are!
As always, I must commend you on fine choices on that sweet little tank of yours!Well, for now I do believe that lone wolf cpd makes a lovely centerpiece fish. 🤭😊🍀🍀
I absolutely love your aquascaping skills! Great inspiration. I love your rasbora choices. I love the rummy nose! ❤ They’re on my bucket list. Where did you purchase them? Flip Aquatics? I looked there but didn’t see them
Arent the Rummy Nose Rasbora the same as the Asian Rummy Nose? Great looking fish. I had some CPD's even spotted a tiny fry or two in the tank. Now that I have reading glasses those Chilli Rasboras are just a little too small.
Great video! I really want to get my hands on the Rummy-nose! And the Kubotais at some point. Maybe when I have more space for another tank. Great choices for setting up nanos. Also, I've found that by keeping my EDR and CPDs together, both are quite a bit less shy!
Great choices Joanna! I got a small school of rummynose rasboras about 2 weeks ago. I knew I needed them after I saw Jason's care guide on them🤣I'm totally in love with these guys. They're so beautiful 😍 I think I've only got males lol hard to sex them bc they're juveniles.
MD Fish tanks did an all-red planted scape, but what I have yet to see an all-red scape with kubotai rasboras, and I think that’s the ultimate place where they belong.
In my experience, Green rasboras are difficult to see with a green plant background. Rummynose are beautiful but it's difficult to get the colors. And cpd doesn't set in my aquarium for whatever reason. Thanks for sharing
Enjoyed your video but would like to know what the blue fish with the red fins in with the chili rasboras ? I have seen these in other videos but couldn't find out the name. Will be anxiously waiting for your reply. Thnks
Hey Joanna, I just upgraded my female betta into a 20 gallon long. She is currently with 8 Glowlight Tetra friends. I want to add some more schooling/shoaling action with a different type of Tetra or Rasbora that would still look good on Pool filter sand. I do like the Neon/Cardinal tetra, but I kind of want to stay away from those because they are similar to my Betta's colors. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
Hi there! Sounds like a fun tank ☺️. I would suggest Ember tetras (pretty with the glowlights)/ you could do gold or black neons/ or galaxy rasboras for something totally different. Good luck! ☺️
How can Harlequins and Scissortails not make the top five. Scissortails are one of the most close shoaling and elegant swimmers available. They should have come in at first and second place!
You left off my brilliant green rasboras and now I can never watch the show again. Nah, I freakin' love this channel !!! You are absolutely killing it. Thanks so much

Harlequin Rasbora are my personal favorite!
Agreed my favorite too
Yeeeeessss I love those rummy nose ones!!! 😊
the personality of the Rummynose Rasbora was so evident that before you even mentioned it, that's what I was thinking. Eventually I'd like to have 100 .... lol Another fun video ..... thanks !
Little stunning little fish bodies 🤣🤣 made me LOL! My fav is harlequins. I also have emerald eyes and they are pretty cute! 😊

Hi Joanna. You always do a Great job on your videos keep up the Great work.🌹🌹🌹🐟
Beautiful tanks. Very inspiring.
Great to see Dwaf Emeralds getting a mention. Really good looking fish, but very shy in my experience also.
I agree on both points! Little shy cuties ☺️
That rummynose rasbora was beautiful!
Aren’t they though?! ☺️☺️☺️
Cool choices of nano fish. Great color on these.
I think so too!☺️🍀

Oh how nice to hear! They are an active bunch for sure. So much fun to keep!!
Yes!!! Rummynose love ❤
All great choices, Joanna! The Chilis are my very favorite...so bright and cheerful! Thanks!
Love rasboros, small you can load up tank with great numbers. And set back watch the show
I love them all! Great footage 😍
I like the way the rummy nose rasboras move- the way they kind of stop and start.
That’s a great list. Thanks so much for putting these videos out. Really informative and entertaining
This video convinced me to pick up some of these from you to pick up at the Quad City Swap this weekend! Looking forward to adding them to my 20L!
How exciting! Hope you love them as much as we do! ☺️

Fabulous clip of Rasbora😊Harliquin Rasbora🌹
My favorite was the Green Kubati, but now my favorite is the Rummy Nose Rasbora.
I also like the Chili. Great choices, Joanna!

My favorite are the chilli rasboras. ❤
🙌
I have both Merahs and Blue Axelrodi. Both are great and interesting little fish! Great list!!
These are great choices. I'm looking for other fish to go with my zebra danios in a 20 gallon long.
When I put together a neocaradina tank eventually it will definitely be home to a small school of chili rasboras as well.
Nice! Perfect combo ☺️
Love the list, save for the Emerald. Too similar to the CPD just not as bold. I'd switch it out with the Espei. Still, I love a fishkeeper with conviction!
Ahh, the little lambchop …an excellent choice as well. ☺️
Great timing, I have been wondering what nano fish to try with my Betta and my shrimp (separate tanks) 💚🧡❤️
Perfect!🍀
Chillis are my favorite. I would love to try some Axelrodi, but concerned about their ability to thrive in my hard water.
💚💚💙💙
Superb

Yes, they are both Sawbwa Resplendens.

@@thesmallscape I went with the Harlequin Rasbora. The contrasting black drew me in like a sucker. 🤣
Can the rummy nose rasboras be in a PH of 7.8 to 8.0?
Yup! They are for us ☺️
Axelrodi no longer belongs in Rasboras because it has already been re-classified to Sundadanio. Currently it is Sundadanio Axelrodi.
Good to know my 3 chilli's are 3 different species.... got to love big chain fish stores 💀
Celestial Pearl danio is a danio, not a rasbora ! Hmm !
CPD/ Aka the galaxy rasbora ☺️

Harlequin are shy and do good in large groups , not the best for community .. unless you have 6 or more and have a 30 g+ tank
China is not in South East Asia.
