Welcome to Iron Money, the series where we put the money making methods for Ironman accounts to the test! In this first episode, we'll be testing out 22 different money making methods for Ironman accounts in Old School Runescape.
We'll be diving deep into the OSRS Wiki and selecting methods that are accessible for Ironmen, and testing them out to see just how effective they really are. We'll be looking at the time and effort required to complete each method, as well as the profit earned and any other benefits or drawbacks.
From skilling methods like woodcutting and fishing to combat methods like slayer and bossing, we'll be covering a wide range of money making options. And, of course, we'll be giving our honest opinions on each method and whether or not it's worth your time and effort.

Once you finish fremmy trials you can buy mithril claws and do mithril / steel alloy at giants foundary and make nearly 100k xp/gp

You can die to the demon with the platebody and reclaim them from death office for free. Combined with an axe you can use canoes to get back to enclave. And even keep them and use the platebody in the giant foundry as an aloy.

Great video! Me and my friends just started a group ironman together and would love some more low level money makers you can do while skilling. Any early game iron man guides really!
A tip for my fellow blackjackers:
Instead of trying to use the method to de-aggro the thugs mentioned at 12:15, if you fail a knockout just try to pickpocket the thug again (NOT KNOCKOUT) right after he hits you. As long as your inventory is full and you attempt to pickpocket him before he hits you a 2nd time, it will de-aggro him every time and you can knock him out again.
ya but you can just knock out serially until you succeed also :)
idk wtf lure dialogue strat came from i have never seen that in all ten years of watching people not know you can just knock out repeatedly till it succeeds.

the only reason not to knock out repeatedly is if ur low hp, cause especially at low levell thieving you can fail knock out like 10 times in a row even.
@@Michael_Dominic unless it's changed since I last did it, you can't just knock out repeatedly. When I did it, if you failed to knock them too many times it would put them in combat and you wouldnt be able to attempt to knock them anymore.
@@Denkart you're just wrong. not only has it not changed, it's never changed that's how you always got max xp rates.
@@Michael_Dominic Nah I literally just tested it lol. If your knockouts keep failing multiple times in a row or you aren't quick enough to click knockout before the guard gets a 2nd hit in, then the guard will enter combat and it won't let you attempt further knockouts.
At higher thieving levels you can pretty much just spam knockout tho since you're much less likely to fail multiple in a row.

10:46 I do blast furnace solo using mined materials, been doing it since steel platebodies, and I can definitely make a huge profit off steel even while buying all the coal and bribing the foreman.

The steel plate body spawn is very nice when starting out. Bring a lootbag and you can get up to 200 plates per hour.
Burning amulet and dueling ring and time the spawn, I think it respawns in 20 minutes so you can hit a list of worlds.
I did it to get steel items for giants foundry using 9 mith 19 steel.

What do you think about pyramid plunder? Mid level thieving just has so many sit here spam click methods I like PP cause you’ll need sceptres hopefully and I wonder how the GP and XP is worth.
Haven’t done it to 99 myself yet but would definitely be interested to see how it breaks down for you! I know it can be a little awkward cause different rooms at different levels etc
I'd like to add that I thought I wouldn't do good at all in LMS but you'd be surprised what you can do there since there's so many bots. The trick is to go there when it's AUS world and just when it changes in rotation. I my setup to range-melee venge and even won one game.
Just kill a bot or two in the beginning and hide until there's under ten left.

You can high alch items from any method while running the agility pyramid for some bonus cash, very click intensive though

spin flax lunar spell/daily seers flax field turn-ins. the guy at the flax field will trade bs for ur flax every day. but spin flax lunar spell is the way to go.

Air orbs with Paddewwa tabs and gravestone banking make around 800 orbs per hour at best!
It's such and upgrade over fire orbs and has no agility requirement. I made several mils and only stopped doing this after unlocking sepulcher and corrupted gauntlet.

For the lms strat the wiki says 3-4 points a GAME not hour. Realistically its probably a few hundred k an hour

3-4 points a game is nuts ducking nuts. This is going to require placing 4th out of 24 or 9th out of 24 with 3 kills even with the bad bots you most likely looking at maybe 2-3 points per game. Assuming you go 50/50 with real players I think 2.5 points is maybe to be expected. If you’re horrible 1.5 points per game

Episode 2?
Only thing you need to do as an ironman is train ranged, then get 50 slayer and kill bloodvelds to farm blood runes. Do the Feud and Rogue Trader then sell all your blood runes to Ali Morrisane in Al Kharid. This is by FAR the easiest means of gaining raw gp. I was able to get my first mil doing this. Later on you get a ton of blood runes from doing Barrows (especially with Mory Hard Diaries) but early on its easier to just safespot bloodvelds, theyre safe and close to a bank (in the catacombs). I did this all with a bone cbow and bone bolts!

Do 99 thieving for your first 13-ish mil cash and then rush revenants or blood runecrafting with gotr outfit after that. Lategame you can add in rune dragons, hydra, muspah, vorkath, and brutal black dragons. Anything else is a waste of time for gp as an iron.
