I dig the idea that they all, Kid Creole and the Cocos, Coati Mundi, Bongo Eddie (R.I.P.), Peter Schott, Ripper Jones, Carol Coleman, Mark Mazur, Pond Life, all of them, they all live under the same roof. I wonder who those kids belong to though?
I'll keep my eyes out for anything new. Basically, I was searching myself for this video for years and then it took months for UA-cam to release it to the public again. I personally remember seeing it on NBC's Friday Night video years ago and hadn't seen it since.
Reminds me of my only one-night stand--my co-worker's younger sister, whom I fell in love with at first site. It was at my co-worker's Halloween Party (1986) and this song was playing when I met her. We danced, talked, drank (not like Endicott) all night and then went to bed and like Endicott, made love hard and long. I gave her my phone number after that and she said she would call. Well, I'm still waiting for that call 30 + years later! Also, a month later, my co-worker took a job on the East Coast (I was living in LA at the time) and I lost touch with him. But this song has special meaning for me.

Those two don't even belong in the same sentence! There is no logical comparison!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this! This was my first Kid vid and I fell in LOVE! Thanks for posting this!!! Brings back some great memories 8)
Me listening at age 15 (1985) "Endicott sounds like someone I should act like." First time I ever had a song strike me that way.
This is such a great video. I love the acting and the artistry.
Wow, what a blast from the past, I had totally forgotten this gem. So glad to hear it again.
love this band. loved them then, love them now. so ahead of his time, so underrated.
thanks for posting this.
I thought this was a great video back in the 1980's. I still think it's a great video, AND, having a little more life experience than I did back then I think I can understand why KC doesn't want to be like Endicott.
Been married to Endicott for 25 years. 🥰
I had the priviledge of attending only 2 concerts of the Kid way back over 20 years ago wish I had seen more. Been listening to his music since 1982 when I was in high school. Oh yeah Endicott, you really appreciate this song once you get married and your wife starts comparing you to so and so's husband and how perfect he is to so and so. ARRRRUGGHHH!!!!!
Class act, wish I would have seen them live back in the day.
C'est une bonne question jean Louis - What's new about Kid Créole and the Coconuts - so long time without any Creations - are they still playing together ? started in 1980
i think - Greetings from Bordeaux .
Thanks for posting this! Though its a corny video, the satire in the song hits the mark! KID CREOLE was really a true showman!
37 years later & I still love this silly song , I can still remember back in the fall of 1986 watching this video in the mornings while getting ready for school
I still walk around singing this catchy song. I do not get the lyrics right but they sound good. Lol
2024! Still rocks.............💯
I had a random dream about this song! I had to play this as soon as I woke up.
CREOLE legacy still lives 2022
Absolutely brilliant. Acting is spot on. Great tune.
The only way this could be better is if "Kid Creole" was Cab Calloway's Grandson 😂😂😂
I used to watch this when I was 15, now that I'm 55, unmarried, no kids BUT a homeowner with 3 Sports Cars it has a whole new deeper meaning. F### ENDICOTT 😂😂😂😂😂
THIS WAS MY JAM ENDICOTT KEEPS HIS BODY CLEAN..ENDICOTT USE NO NICOTINE😂😂😂
I got the Time Warner notice when I initially posted and then after not doing anything the video was release to the public months later.
This was one of my favorite videos way back in the day. Dr. Demento would jam this video every night.
Endicott is Annie's Daddy
She wishes he was, but she's too ugly.
Top feel-good song. Thanks Endicott, and watch out for those piggy feet.
THIS is the version I remember seeing on TV way back when I was at Purdue!
I am so glad you put this video up. I know this sounds crass, but what happens if you die? Can you do something to make sure we have access forever?
They are having too much fun. Great band.
