Great review. These are apparently not from the wildlife collection even though they are marked with a wildlife sticker. These cost $69.99 here. I have two more open at the house now and both are very good.

Are these wildlife collection bottles out in the wild or distillery only? I've not seen them in the wild.
I think they are distillery only but I am not 100% certain on that
What a coincidenoe, I got the Grey Fox when I was in TN. I think I only paid 60. Based on what I've heard is that Milam & Greene single barrels come mostly from Tennessee Distilling. TD specifically requires sourcers to not list the city it came from.
Yeah my buddy who got it for me later told me it was 60 and maybe not part of the wildlife collection even though it says that on the sticker. Could be TD but mashbill and taste are very JD like
Picked up my first Dickel single barrel. Its 104.2 proof and get this. Its 17 years old! For a whopping $54.99!!!!

Another stellar review. I've never seen a 15 year old Dickel above 92 proof. I'd buy one if over...compute... compute.....100 proof 😂

Yeah this was a good one. Do some research though before you buy some are in fact Dickel I know some don’t like that

Great detective work on that bottle, Bill. I agree... there doesn't seem to be a reason to get those bottles when Dickel and JD are so readily available and well priced. Cheers.
Glad you picked up that subtle hint lol. Yeah so apparently this bottle isn’t quite the wildlife collection even though the sticker says so this one was 69.99 so actually right in line with value but the real wildlife collection would taste about the same and yes be not a good value

Bourbon bill, we need a knob creek 10 year rye review and comparisons to other ryes in your collection. Esp old overholt 10 year, JD BP rye, Sagamore 8 year etc!

A lot of people talk bad about Texas whiskey but I guess if it's not *distilled* in Texas it doesn't count.
That’s right lol I think it’s more the aging climate there extracts a heavy youthful wood to me that can come across as table varnish but I honestly haven’t had enough Texas whiskey to really judge

There's a contract distillery in Columbia. I'm betting it's there or it could wvwn be a couple of others like Old Glory in Clarksville. Unlikely it's Old Dominick.

Gonna confirm if it says Distilled in TN it's going to be TN Distilling Group out of Colombia. I live a few minutes away from there. These wildlife collection bottles in TN are between 60-70. I enjoy them a lot and posted a review of the coonhound sticker to my local group in Murfreesboro.
