Yes, for long term use you need to use the Ecoflow app, and set the maximum charge to 80%. That will keep the battery at 80% instead of 100% (which is the default setting and not good for battery health).
To me it's not an upgrade when the noise reduction can result in overheating and the parasitic draw of the ac inverter has increased significantly. The two solar charging ports is a very nice add, however.
The cooling design was impressive on the D2. 3 fans, 4 openings, and they blew air laterally across the short side of the unit. No where for heat to hide! But I think a large single fan, if designed correctly, could still be plenty effective. I haven't heard about the parasitic draw.
I think that delta 3 plus is not a finished product. With alternator charger it is not possible to charge delta 3 plus and extra battery at the same time, because there is only one port for connecting or alternator charger or extra battery. In the current reality 1 kWh on board is very little. I am disappointed.
There will probably be a new "Max / 2kwh" version of the Delta 3 line with 2 extra battery ports. But with this model, you can always charge via the 12v car socket (100w) with an extra battery attached. I would suggest adding solar on your roof as well, then you can charge with both of those and have an EB attached👍
This is understandable. But charging 5 kWh from a 100 watt cigarette lighter is violence against yourself. It is strange to do this when there is already an 800 watt alternator charger, but it cannot be used. In my case, this is a semi truck where the delta 3 plus was planned to be in the cabin without taking up much space, and an additional 4 kWh battery in the side compartment. This would be ideal, but unfortunately this project cannot be implemented. The only thing you can try is charging from two xt60 ports using a pecron converter and the same ecoflow alternator charger through the xt 60 port using an adapter. The ecoflow team needs to think more broadly based on practicality and not just marketing.
When I plug in something into DELTA 2 MAX, I don't want it to interfere with my work and knowing I can turn it off at any time with my apps there shouldn't be any problem it the plug ins are in the back, another thing, the time I can use the unit until discharge is no showing on the panel, for me having to inlet for extra battery and alternator charger is very helpful to me. Having to say it will have power up to 5kw makes me deeply consider HOW when the unit can only hold 1kw plus extra battery can add 1kw, so how it can have 5kw??? Also, there's no more wireless charging on top? THIS UNIT IS NOT UPGRADE BUT DOWNGRADE.
Great video dude, hope you can review one of these for the channel
can the delta pro ultra battery be used with delta 3 plus
Is it ok to leave this on & connected to my sump pump to provide uninterrupted power to the pump without harming the battery.

But the chrome strip makes it charge faster 😂
I bought 3 and one of them started malfunctioning right out the box. Fan would run none stop without any load being pull.
They're not showing two different solar panels. They're just stating how long it would take to charge from 200w and from 400w.

Could you use the alternator charger to xt-60i ? I’m just wondering if that’s not an option on the Delta 3.

Sure, the Max is a beast...and costs twice as much as this.
The Delta Pro 3 extra battery is 4kwh (each).
Et ne fonctionne pas avec powerstream, donc je passe mon chemin !!!
Ça vaut rien !!!
Dude this is just infomercial. Just repeating what’s already advertised. Useless video
