    It's a shame that the additional batteries don't have separate charging options and that they don't have DC outputs like the main unit has, this would be a great improvement for the future.

    I've been trying to get warranty work done on my Delta Pro since May 30, 2023. It shorted out and I thought it might burst into flames from the smell it was emitting. This after only one years' light use. It took two weeks to get Customer Service to respond, and another week for them to tell me to ship it to them , but the mailing label they provided me would have shipped it to a Trampoline and Tumbling Gym. I visited the address, thinking I could just drop off the Delta Pro instead of shipping it. I don't know what the problem is, but I could not recommend buying an EcoFlow product after my experience with their Customer Service. Maybe commenting here will get a positive result for me.

      Humm that sounds strange the return address label had a return address to a trampoline gym. When I did my warranty claim i shipped mine to California. Hopefully someone in support will read your comment and reply asap. From my own experience I had to do a warranty return on my River 2 pro witch went bad after only a few weeks witch took about 2 months to get sorted out. The 1st replacement they sent me was defective so I had to go through the process all over again. In the USA they have a customer service number I called and was able to speak to someone but alot of the communication was done by email. I just got my 2nd replacement a few days ago and it's working fine. Beat of luck to you in your situation.

    Good visual presentation of all of the Ecoflow batteries. I wish this had been available 2 years ago before I purchased a Delta Max when I just needed a smaller unit to carry around. However, after deciding not to invest in a Generac generator $20K, I did my research and ended up with 2 Delta Pros, a dual voltage hub, a 10 circuit transfer switch, a Dual Fuel Smart Generator, a couple of portable solar panels and an Ecowave 2 AC/heater. These are very good quality products, the app is awesome(I can control all of these units) and I think I'm done for awhile.
    I would like to see a longer cord for the Dual Fuel Smart Generator (25ft-30ft would be nice).16 feet is short for a proprietary cord. I could put the smart generator behind my locked fence to charge the Delta Pro units with DC while they are running in my garage and close the garage door.

    Love the Deltas. I have two, the Delta 1(1300), and the Delta Max(2000). Seriously thinking of either getting the Delta 2 Max or a second battery for the Max. Even thinking of getting the 2 Max and the extra battery for that, since I could also use it on the Max. I really like the idea of the longevity of the 2 Max.

    I've had a delta 1 for a couple of years now, and it could run my fridge plus small freezer for about 48 hours from testing. I recently bought an extra battery for the Delta 2, not realizing it wasn't compatible with my delta 1. So long story short, I now have a delta 2 and a dual fuel smart generator on the way. I'm fairly certain that this combination will be able to supply our power needs now and am eagerly waiting to try them out

      Don’t assume the generator will work on charger your units. Trust me on this . Run your test. Run a test for a week and see if can handle the demand. Also if you’re going to use the generator to charge your units, you will be ready to store some gas or propane for your generator. What happens if the power goes out for a few weeks. Do you have enough fuel on hand to run the generator? Something to think about 👍

    I bought a Delta 2 Max in March. Worked great until it didn't. One day I smelt something burning it was coming from the unit. It was running a small fan which stopped working. Long story short, customer service is the worse at Ecoflow. No one has gotten back to me and it's been over two weeks. They are great at marketing the product but there is absolutely no support on the backend. After researching more, it seems this is a very common complaint. Make the cables between the main unit and the batteries similar to the cable in the Yoshopo Y3000 power station with a 90 degree connector and the cable will only take up space about the diameter of the cable itself and no one will complain about your cables taking up a lot of space anymore.

      Well I use the river 2 to keep our phones,laptops and other battery powered devices charged on the go. It's small enough to take with us on the go in a viechle. The river pro and river 2 pro is used to power more bigger appliances around the house during summer months to cut down on our electricity bill when we have to run our ac more. Of course the deltas are used for the biggest power needs we have. We also have random power outages here too at least once a month due to load shedding and they come in handy for that too. I've been very pleased and impressed with all my eccoflow products so far and likewise with the customer service I received when my river 2 pro went bad. It did take a while to get it all sorted out but I can say with confidence now ecoflow will take care of its customers should they have problems with their units. You just have to go through the right process and stay on top of the case until it's resolved.

    With the recent sales, both the one several months ago (as well as the Black Friday one this year), I ended up with:
    a. Delta 2 (battery lifecycle, longevity, was important... along with weight)
    b. Delta 2 extra battery (system total of 2kw energy storage... and lower weight than the Delta Max extra battery)
    c. 2 x 220w solar panels
    d. Duel Fuel generator (which will run on propane)
    The goal is to run a standard fridge and freezer, and be able to charge other items such as a laptop, phones, lights, etc, overnight. During the daytime, recharge with solar panels. And, if the sun doesn't cooperate, the generator is (smartly) there. ... All in an grid down, extended power outage, scenario.
    Further, the Delta 2 and the solar panels (by themselves, if required) could easily be picked up quickly, loaded up, and carried in a vehicle for almost any outdoor gathering's light usage needs.

    You need to consider people who are going off grid in rural locations in small homes. There's tens of millions of them. We DO Not have 'smart' phones or do texts. We use flip phones and ALL Ethernet WIRED internet networks on multiple computers and will use your system after the grid goes down, the aging utility is gone, and cell phones won't work. YOU NEED TO MAKE your units accessible via the Ethernet cable connected to a multi port switch so that the computers can access the DELTA's from a web browser and get the same information you now send through the blue tooth to smart phones. IF you do that you will have a huge untapped market share and be miles ahead of the rest of the industry.
    If you can access a laser printer this way and get it's operational information in a web browser, it should be a no brainer to access the DELTA in a similar manner.

    The only thing I don't like are the massive battery cables that take up a lot of space,
    instead make 90-degree connectors to save space.
    I would like to be able to track and monitor the EcoFlow DELTAs as well with a long-term full usage history whenever I have internet access from anywhere and also have data when the EcoFlow DELTA was offline without internet, where that data would be uploaded to DELTA memory and when the DELTA is connected to the internet it would automatically upload the offline usage data itself and everything would be visible in an app on my mobile or computer on the internet.

    • @EcoFlowTech
      @EcoFlowTech  Рік тому +2

      It's an interesting idea. But right now deltas only have real time data with no record. It's a fair request, but maybe it should be optional, as not everyone wants their data to be saved and transferred regardless. I wonder what expect full life span historical data would you like to see ?

    • @tiborchren
      @tiborchren Рік тому +2

      @@EcoFlowTech I agree that not everyone may be interested in these and similar features, but on the other hand, these options could be a reason for many users to choose your products because no one has them. The option to disable/enable saving history from usage could be in the app.
      It could also be an expansion accessory, such as an externally attachable dongle with memory and Wi-Fi transmitter that would not be a barrier to portability.
      I'd like to have online tracking capabilities with historical data storage something like Solar Assistant has, with offline data automatically uploaded, or would it ask me if I want to upload offline usage data when I connect to the app through my mobile or computer.
      Or cooperate with Solar Assistant and allow it to integrate your portable Power Stations, which is also an option.
      Personally, I'd like to be able to see all sorts of things, even the voltage on each cell, when the battery is balancing, etc... everything that's going on in the system...
      Related to that, I think it would be great to add the possibility to connect the Power Stations to the Home Assistant, which is very popular, where there is already a pre-programmed integrated interface for the solar tracking system, you just need to add the data from the Power Stations to it.

    • @EcoFlowTech
      @EcoFlowTech  4 місяці тому

      Hi there, if the "mix" means daisy chaining the Delta Max or Delta 2 to the Delta Pro to expand the system's capacity, it is not supported. If you want to enlarge the capacity, it is suggested to connect the corresponding extra batteries. We have Delta 2/Delta Max/Delta 2 Max/Delta Pro extra batteries for you to choose. Concerning the Delta Pro, you can not connect two sets of Delta Pro with their extra batteries connected unless you use the double voltage hub.

  • @iiinsaiii
    @iiinsaiii 8 місяців тому +1

    The problem is charging. If you got two Delta pro’s with four extra batteries. Their ecoflow generator don’t have enough power to charge that system setup. The ecoflow solar panels won’t give you enough power ether. People need to understand what it takes to charge a full setup like that, especially when your depending on it. Then what are you going to do if you’re charging with solar and it’s been raining for a few days? What are you going to do? What’s your plan B or C ? People need to understand this, but they don’t and will be in trouble.

    to replace about 8000 per hour in a power loss, a propane stationery generator installed with electric box changes would bew $12-$14,000. portable gas generator with electrict box hook up would be around $6000. Both will easily handle mulitple days without power. What can EcoFlow do to compare?

    Can eco flow stay plugged in while portable generator is running the house? The generator gives off dirty electricity and sensitive electronics like a 52inc led tv may be damaged from generator. How long would a tv run off the ecoflow?thanks

    • @EcoFlowTech
      @EcoFlowTech  10 місяців тому

      Hi, to answer your questions:
      1. No. The generator can not be connected to the mains/wall plug while running the house; it can be connected to solar panels.
      2. The harmonic rate of the EcoFlow portable generator is very low, about 3%; basically, it will not produce the so-called "dirty power", thus TVs, in general, are good to go.
      3. The actual time depends on the TV's power. For example, with 300W AC power consumption, Delta 2 can maintain around 2.9m hours.
      Hope this can help!

    Saw 3000 wants to charge on a Delta pearl between 2 of them and running 4800 W continuously. That's morning in our power, not.
    I don't know how 3000 watch can cover 4800 W 24 hours a day, it does not. Cycling part. I'm not too worried about if I have enough power coming in to run everything when I'm running everything in daytime. Something still run at night like the water heater. But I don't have a problem because doesn't run continuously. I mean, it Kix on maybe once every 20 minutes or 5 or 6 minutes run into power. So I want to get extra power from there. But ultimately it is a 4800 W water heater. The problem is the dryer, the kitchen stove 3 or 4 times a day using it. That's no big deal that I probably get scraped some power from that too. But what you telling me I cannot charge it from what I'm using, which is a big problem 1500 a 1/2 from 1 Delta pro 15 don't want from another Delta pro or if you can't do looking up the AC that you don't have or you can hook it. Up to gas generator which is not allowed on my house.
    Or at least I will never let one in my house. Or on my property or in a neighbor's property because they Decided to steal it from me even if they left 50 miles away I mean, I live in a city, and I can't hide nothing on my property. So gas generators out I'm propane generator's out. An oil generator's out a cold generator is out.
    So I'm dealing with solar and solar only so when you generate it as I get. It's going it at the house or shed. But never for someone to steal.

      @@crxk20r59 Round trip means how much you can take out of the battery, AND, how much does it take to bring the battery back to full. The efficiency of the charge controller comes into play, as well as the AC inverter, and other circuitry. For DC round trip, this would include the regulation circuit for maintaining (hopefully) above 12V.
      So, this test should be done on both AC and DC charge/discharge.
      Most reviewers do it on discharge, but no one has embraced round trip.

    So in other words, is I better get 6 Delta pros? All their batteries connect to them together to them together. 2 of them together to run my main power choice in my house. So I could take showers, cook and dry clothes.
    Every two sesame connected to one One of each having just slightly more power. Then what is putting out pretty much about half of one of them. Little more than half of the other. One a little more than half the other 1. With that I could probably run a light down in the basement for their water heater and a little heater for the dryer. I get prior run to wash machine with one of them prior to the kitchen stove. So I have a cooked up to I don't know. Maybe bathroom lights, but it's about it, and then if you want to power, anything else knows you better get yourself. Another too dealt the pros. Take a part of everything else in your house. So I guess I'd actually need 8 Delta pros and all their batteries.
    That gets to be. Well, astronomically, expensive. Something like ninety six thousand dollars too expensive. So maybe she come up with a bigger generator that can connect with to one together to make 13200 W. That'll run my wide here to my kitchen stove in my dryer, and that's all around, that's what they take, and the bad thing is, everything's gonna have to have a hard start because it's nothing connected to him because while I lost my power last year. And it's not gonna be hooked back up ever.
    I mean, I do have solar panels. Just not enough but more enough for the generator.

    And get and all their Batteries Plus another 300 with additional 8 batteries, so I. Could keep changing those when the time gets up. The year gets real difficult. And 2AC5 hundreds plus and all their batteries. Add an additional 1 for Will it 6 Batteries Plus additional 6 batteries to keep things charged? So I could charge out the twelve batteries from the other from that one so when a difficult time Comes every year. Did AC 500 around 2 of those big appliancesand slightly more and they come with 6 batteries each.
    So that makes a big difference, but the prices of all that, but together or even separate is still quite extremious. Well, when they get over a 180 pounds, let me know then I might have some problems.
    Oh, and I think I'll also get the Delta pro ultra 7200 W generator and 2 of those and a hub and probably another one just to charge extra Batteries Plus all their batteries, with a little bit extra. So I can change those out if they run no one power. Then I think I might actually have something cause the Delta pro ultra actually. Runs more than 13000 tuna Watts. So be able to run other things in a house too. Just not everything but I get all those. Then it might be what I want.
