I dig the videos as always. Over the years, dealing with JL subs, the 12w6 v3 especially, call for smaller ported enclosure volumes. If I remember correctly, about 1.4 cubes ported on the v3, and the v2 calls for 1.5 cubes. I am sure the enclosure will turn out nice, but i would be cautious with throwing over twice the rated power per sub, in an oversized enclosure volume, especially with them being beaten on in several builds. I know by modeling those up, as with all subwoofers.. with bigger enclosure volumes than required, they tend to reach their xmax quicker on less power. I am just trying to help a little bro. Those subs are super soft suspension wise, and I would hate to see them bottom out and kill coils, or saturate the coils and blow as well. I've refoamed and reconed so many JL subs over the years . 👍
2.6 cf net volume is all you need for 2 12s jl audio w6v3 and 3k is too much bro especially with dirty power those taramps amps are garbage...tell ur friend to get a clean amp like a Rockford fosgate jl audio amp 750 to 1000 watts is all you need for those subs and I'm curious what formula are you using for the port area?

Do jl audio subs sound better in a sealed box or ported box
I need a box for my 2 13w6v2. Or just a design for one. Thought about even goin bandpass.
Hey mouse, have you ever used subbox pro? That's the software I use for my boxes. It's kinda limited but I like it. What software do you use?
I use term pro my computer crashed with it on there but I got a book with all kinds of formulas I’ve design throughout the years
I need that software so
I can get a design for my 2 13w6v2. Thought about even trying to go bandpass.
