Hey Stuart, g'day from Oz. I guess when you're in "sunny" Scotland and the seat of your digger gets hot you know something's wrong underneath it. It's good to see that you got it fixed just using old fashioned mechanical skills cos it re-inforces the idea that these Chinese machines can often be repaired without resort to expensive parts and technical assistance.
Hi Will the machine so far has been great digs well and has plenty of power as for how well it will last remains to be seen this big + is the price and if you have a bit of mechanical knowledge it is very easy to work on

Mine did the same thing
The bracket was not tight as it is very hard to tighten
I replaced it and I replaced the bolts and it fixed it
Hi Stuart thinking of getting this machine how d9 you find it and is it robust. Thanks will
It’s still going and all is well but i do go over most of the nuts and bolt’s checking them regularly
The exact thing happened to my machine
The bracket bolts were not tight
