    I've made savory oats before but would never tried to make an Oats Dal, this is brilliant. Is it a common combination in India?

      We have used Oats & Moong Dal to make this yummy khichdi😋 Moong Dal Khichdi is quite common, yes!

    I don't have cooker in my pg..will it cook properly in kadhai and approx how much time will it take? I have only induction.

      You can do away with moong dal altogther. Cook the vegetables, add oats, mix it well, add water, stir till cooked. Done !

      ASafoetida commonly only needed for reducing the gassiness of the lentils. You can just add some fennel seeds, that gives a similar effect 😊

    But the daal will take time to cook and oats will become very syrupy . Isn't it?

      U can soak daal 15 minutes before cook it.
