I've been waiting for this one. Spotter from the attack vehicle might be fun to give those shotgun shooting units extra range. I really liked seeing all the snatchers in one army. Great video!
Everybody won!!!!!!!!! I love Aliens and Sue loves dwarfs!!!!! I think they needed the ACID SPLASH rule but thats an army you can write!!!!!! GREAT JOB BUDDY!!!!!!!! Oh and LOVE THE TABLE!!!!!!
Really appreciate you putting up the pic of the unit while discussing it. While OPR is agnostic for models it helps me get ideas on where I wanna go with them.
Yay!!!!! i love soul snatcher cults its actually my main force :3 i typically do 3 elite snatchers and 3 acolytes and from there depends what im fighting lol all the bodies all the melee just love it XD
Just thinking of a couple of those acolytes charging at a tank with big buzz saws brings a smile to my face. Like how do you respond to that?😂 I'm looking forward to see what models OPR comes out for these.
A change I think needs to be made in combat. No unit, unless out of ammo, is going to stand there and wait for the enemy to run them over. I would add a reaction fire stat based on the quality of the unit. And to keep the charging unit from being wiped out, the reaction fire would be one shot per model in the unit.
The advanced rules have an overwatch option that may cover this. Otherwise, there are a lot of abstractions in the game. No one is "waiting" for someone else to do something. They're all doing things constantly.
I was watching the first half of the video and "tweaking" my force on the army builder page then you brough an army of "aliens"!!!!! I thought WTF!!!!!... but at the end its good to see how one (in this case three) kind of unit works... I like the snatchers as a "pack of melee" but have to hit first (and hard) or die...
While I dont have anything against the Soul Snatchers, I have a grudge against Genestealers Cults. I'm a Scions guy, you don't know the pain of seeing those guys not only stay as their on codex, but get expanded on. While my Scions were rolled into the Guard, but still can't take anything from it :/
dice rolling was kinda lackluster from my end. That and with only one unit type they lacked the variety needed to fight the different enemy units. The stealers basically bounced off the walkers. Relying on rending is not an effective anti tank tactic.

Nice to have a new dice box, but put your logo on the bottom, as miss that ❤
Working on it!
I truly enjoyed watching the whole battle 🎓.

I was rooting for the snatchers, but alas. To be like the Alien movies, the opponent needs a rule where they make a stupid decision on a 4+.

... 44:36 made my night..... LOL!!!!
@pabloarellano7359 and now I have an idea for a robot legions army.
Ok, Dwarves. You beat the Xenomorphs, but can you beat the deadly Ewoks lol

Boss,
How do you mount your camera to shoot these videos?
its just a cheap tripod from amazon
Interesting that two point balanced armies don't seem very balanced. Thoughts on why this turned out to be so one sided?
