I love the Jackals... But I think their placement is fair. They're great in a terrain heavy board, but can easily be wiped out on a less busy play field. Solid for what they are, but what they are is solid B-tier.

Sweet batrap. Love these OPR quest games. Just an FYI, know you said you hadnt have the rules down, but when a hero uses an ability it goes off regardless, if they miss the die roll they gain a stress up to their endurance then a wound if they have more stress then their endurance. Managing stress in quest is everything.

List building seems oddly complicated! Good batrep though :) Never heard of the system before.

I'm happy I stumbled on this video because the builder confuses me for plague brothers. When you select the sergeant weapons (say energy fist and plasma pistol) you can select "replace all heavy rifles with plague close combat weapons it's fine. But if you select the replace with plague weapons first everything greys out. I'm assuming the way you're doing it is correct and I'm overthinking it. Because of this I didn't think the sergeant weapons could be taken because you need to replace every models heavy rifle.

Thanks a bunch for showing this off, I did not find his own videos very helpful in explaining the system. I'm really interested to see your take on this golden grouse of a game. Would love to see how it deals with trying to simulate a 40k kinda setting battle, and how it does tanks and big walkers.

Dark Brothers' and Dark Prime Brothers' grim rule prevents their units from being shaken, which means they are never routed from combat. Never being shaken keeps them in the fight without having to be idle.

If you do more brutality, it would be cool to see settlement mode

I love the Dark Brothers. They are the first army I started collecting in that other game, and the destroyers are one of my favorite units. I really wish they had the option to take war veteran to hit on 2+. I always seem to roll low with the maces in particular
