Hi there , what is that place called in Thai . I am Thai- American. I have not hear that before . It may be a different name in Thai . I would like to stay there whine I am in vacation in Thailand . Is it call Kro Kret ? Thanks
Thank you Chris for showing other side of Bangkok. I am Thai but living in NY I didn’t even know those kind of area existed. I am telling you this German man living life of my dream 😊 very nice house and the surrounding !!
Ok, this is "Bang ka Chao" community. I remembered watching a video of Chatchart, BKK mayor and his team running in this community in the morning. I like the fact that there are a lot tree and plants, and it's not far from the city. This house is amazingly beautiful. It is surrounded by nature!
Great design house, structural steel moment frame can not go wrong leaves open spaces great windows and floor planing and excellent finishings well done.
Dude! I first watched one of your videos yesterday and have since watched a few more... I have to say that you are so infectious in your attitude and personality! So fun to watch and listen to. I was in Pattaya back in 1982 and it looks SO much different now. Anyway, I loved being in Thailand and being around the Thai people, they are so friendly and open. I know I'll never get back there but I love watching your videos. Thank You!
Being able to look for a place to live without having to worry about how long the drive to work is or how much time it takes to get there is one of the biggest things I’m looking forward to in 13 months when I retire!!!! Aloha 🌴🤙🏽
I have lived in Thailand for over 10yrs and i would totally buy this place in a heartbeat even though the asking price is quite high. But it seems like a very well made domicile.
In my opinion, for I'm Thai people and also a Bangkokian, this is more than a worthy offer. First, after I heard that it took less than 30 mins. to get to Sathorn or Prompong which those two districts were in the heart of Bangkok this is what people were looking for especially who work there. Because the traffic jams are everywhere across every roads of Bangkok would take you an hour or more to get you from your household to the workplace. Secondly, you couldn't find a modern house this big in Bangkok with less than a 100 Millions Baht. This is only 23,000,000 Baht OMG! with fully-furnish but, I would like to know whether only the house is sold or together with the land. Nowadays, the land values are sharply increased in Bangkok. If you can get it with that price, you are more than the lottery winner. Finally, Thai people are moving away from the urban pollution and we are more concerned about quality of life to live by. It won't take too long for Thai people to find a place to live with nature and to go to work with a less time like this. For a Bangkokian, I highly-recommend this house with those 3 reasons above.
I'm not a fan of cities or modern buildings but I am impressed with the design of this house! Fantastic! I like traditional teak houses on stilts like Jim Thompson's. This house probably can withstand river floods. I actually had fun in BKK when it flooded & I walked in 2ft of water in my hotel lobby. Great memories. I did not know farangs could buy property now either! I dreamed of retiring there but the crowds, loss of wooden buildings, residency, and pollution have somewhat soured me. Ecuador felt okay but then I LOVE THAI CULTURE MAAK, MAAK!
stunning modern home in an incredibly peaceful scenic area. reminds of some of the houses being sold out here in beverly hills, bel air the difference is this house is going for 70% less than anything out here. impressive.
There are also about 3-4 other parks such as Chaloem Phra Kiat Park, PTT Forest Park, Lad Pho Park nearby and you can drive up the Bhumibol Bridge and Kanchana Bridge in less than 20 minutes from Bang Krachao Island. Most of the area of Bang Krachao has been expropriated by the authorities to preserve and be the lungs of Bangkok.
