People stopped talking about dopamine detox a while ago and I still don't understand why, it's the most important thing for self improvement alongside self image psychology.

i used to think being magnetic was just about looks or confidence, but i couldn’t have been more wrong. i read this book called Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it totally changed my perspective. it breaks down the energy and mindset behind true attraction in a way that just makes sense. once i started applying what it taught, i noticed people reacting to me differently almost instantly. it’s seriously worth a read.

If you're watching videos at 2x speed or 1.5x speed thinking its productive - you're coping.
The real reason why you watch it at such high speeds is to match the stimulation levels of shorts and other highly edited content.

People got mad at dopamine detox and started "debunking" it because they're midwits with no appreciation for the analogical efficicacy of the term and who need everything to be autistically literal, otherwise there's something wrong with the entire message, apparently. "It's not called 'resensitizing dopamine receptors' and therefore the whole thing is wrong" was the gist. Still baffles me to this day.
