Do you always do this mission first on a new playthrough?
Buy me a coffee☕: tinyurl.com/OpHalo
Playing fallout 4 for my first playthrough, but taking notes from your videos for the second 😁👍
I do usually, just to get powr armor and raiders gear
i walkt there and took the musket outside the house, did not walk into it. then i went off and did the cc stuff i had, i also built up sancutary, like workstations, power armor house, defenses and such , like 600 defense heavy laser, went and helpt danse and his shit, and abit others quest atomatrun and such and alot exploring then i went back now level 71 and rescued preston, aned now im looking at building up every settlement before i go to far harbor or nuka world.
I have only 1 play through and it’s been here since 2018 😭
Yeah, it’s the first thing that I do so I can get started on Sanctuary.
You mean to tell me you heen holed up here for almost six months? Every settlement has walls, an economy, and missle defense and you live in this tiny museum?
They must have at least 10 endurance
This time, settlers tell the Sole Survivor to help Preston.
And two of them are two minutes away lol
Playing somewhat similar...lvl 60 and still haven't visited Diamond or Neighbor yet lol
@@Interstella101 Similar to Skyrim, level 30 and dragons do not exist. Lot more peaceful lol

“You still have the option to leave… Please”
Its like Starfield New Game+ 1000
My current playthrough has me skipping and ignoring a few companions. I’ll probably rescue Preston after the Institute is destroyed, if I remember to anyways.
I’m in a similar position. I haven’t been to the museum of freedom yet and I’m finishing up liberty prime. I’ve been tempted to go there and get the t45 but I’m not in a hurry.
@@TexasRed649Why do you care about a T-45 in your current game progression when you have a T-60? Apart from it looking better.

ngl it's kinda awesome how bethesda thought of situations like this where you already obtained armor and talk to them
It would be better if enemies were a little more wary of your armor as well
ngl it’s kinda the fucking bare minimum for game design and you praising a feature present and far more extensive in New Vegas makes you look like a bootlick with no taste in good or bad art.
Yea, no. New Vegas did it 100x better.
Too bad there's no dialog about Sanctuary already being yours
@@Lunatic5306 He’s not saying NV isn’t better, he’s just saying it’s cool that Bethesda put as much effort as they did into details you’d never expect them to bother with.
Preston: “We’re the last of the Minutemen”
Sole Survivor: “Why don’t you take a seat?”
Sturges just casually stimming while talking to you.
Have to say, I love that they recorded extra dialogue just in case someone might do this.
“BACK TO ENGLAND WITH YOU!”
*sounds of democracy*
Ironically using a Soviet-derived gun.
There's no kill like overkill, as they say.
Man, there wasn't enough of that Deathclaw left to bury in a Vault-Tec lunchbox. (/cue party sound)
I always do this 💀 sometimes I google the quests and do a huge large scale research about it then start preparing in the most overkill and overdone way possible
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I never knew the Deathclaw came out of the sewer
You didn't play fallout 4 or something, it's just scripted
Yop. You can also go in there and there's some bunker or something. I don't really remember. I just know there are doors.
@@alexstasko696 What I want to know is that if you go down there first will the deathclaw be there?
@@Dingdongjermm I think you can't open it before he gets out and I think there's no other entrance. But Iam absolutely just guessing. I was there once and never got back.
@@alexstasko696 there's like 3-4 different entrances.
The one second clip at 0:23 is fucking hilarious. “You know how this went viewer.”
"All in a day's work."
There aren't even pieces of that deathclaw left
I think it went straight to Earth orbit.
Let's just say that Mama Murphy ain't sitting comfortably yet
The handmade rifle is so powerful, have an assassin's one and a vats gauss rifle. Super fun
I, too, walk up to the museum of freedom with a full suit of X-01 power armor, a legendary minigun, and a handmade rifle.
I’m level 50 by now and I still haven’t completed the main quest yet….. I still have to go to the Glowing Sea to meet Vergil but man those side quests just randomly pop up and appear out of nowhere.
Level 80 and not even looking for a courser.
Mission Overkill completed
When you played Fallout 4 enough that you decide to make your own fun with endgame stuff on early game enemies.
Total case of a WTFIS playthrough there -- from that comic that has Codsworth ask "What about Shaun?" and the Sole Survivor shouting down from a ten story settlement building, "WHO THE F**K IS SHAUN".
😁
Honestly, just for the sake of roleplay, I recommend people do characters where they never go inside the Museum of Freedom except to get the Perception Bobblehead.
I've done a mercenary type character that didn't join the Brotherhood OR Minutemen, and it was probably some of the most fun I had with this game.
I actually do no Minutemen playthroughs every now and then, but not joining either groups and still doing everything else really escalated the feeling that your character is a badass, no huge groups with armies supporting you, just you vs the world.
Yep, I did that on my last playthrough. Grabbed the comic and the bobblehead and just left. Preston's line as I walked out the door was funny.
It’s just amazing how many different ways you can play these Bethesda games. 👍💪
Deathclaw: "RAWRR - oh shit!!"
not on topic but while being low level, especiallt survival, you can line up frag mines to have them create a chain reaction that will reach the cars, 3 mines for a horde of raiders and an overgrown argonian seems like a fair trade.
Once did this mission in an X01 Mark III with the Kiloton Radium Rifle and Rifleman fully perked out. Watching the enemies blow to little bits was just funny for a war crime.
Seemed at little too easy.
There is mod that flips the charge handle on the Handmade Rifle (AK-47). Also without a decent mod the Jet Pack is just a simple Jump Pack
Yeah, I always leave Preston and Company on ice while I go and do Nuka World first. I become overboss and play it to completion, taking over settlements south of the river while leaving whatever settlements I have up north intact. I then do Power Play, getting one of the raider bosses out of the way. Then once Nuka World is back online and I can get the Quantum X-01 Power Armor, I go for the two remaining gangs in Open Season. Then I go liberate the captured settlements. Once that is done, I stroll into Concord and get the Minutemen to Sanctuary... with Preston none the wiser that I was ever a raider.
I do it in this order mainly because I hate listening to Preston gripe at me about following my orders but not trusting me because of the overboss thing. Doing it in this order, all I have to do is listen to him whine about settlements as usual.
Ah yes, a similar thing happened to me on my first playthrough.
(I was past level 50 before arriving at Diamond City for the first time. XD)
Are you sure you’re not exaggerating? That’d be pretty hard to do. No merchants to sell stuff to, No main story quests AT ALL to level up, and more.
@@dude7813 Hm. Ok, it's kinda similar, if they were referring to the primary plotline.
I remember doing the radiant quests from the BoS in that police station with finding tech and taking down a group of enemies from somewhere. I went to so many locations for those tasks and forgot about the main story during that time.
Sorry if there was a bit of confusion with what I initially said...
@@COMBAT3865 Ah, yes. I myself have gotten caught up in radiant quests before. I’m sorry if you interpreted my initial comment as calling you a liar or something.
It never ceases to amaze me now far some people like to push games past the developers intentions... at least Bethesda remembered to include some custom dialogue for this possibility! 😂
i do the same landmine thing before the fighting starts
The Deathclaw: screw that, I'm out.
Lol this is so good.. Explosive minigun, handmade rifle and x01 power armor before talking to the minutemen
Bro brought nuclear submarine to knife fight 😂
Which pc do you have? Game runs so smoothly its just Amazing!
sturges needs a eyeglasses💀
Gristle is so funny 1:00
I was kind of expecting you to teabag the deathclaw. 😂
I usually do the landmine thing at the Castle. Though, its not as successful as these landmines.
"Cool guys don't look at explosions"
This is why this game is so GREAT! You can face any situation the way you want.
That's usually my problem. I'm 10/10 on S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats, and a slew of other abilities maxed as well. They might as well be shooting bb's at a titanium plate honestly.
it's not much but it's honest work
I always try to do Nuka World before doing any Preston missions so I can still get the Raider perks without locking myself out of preston's companionship
Ya I played nuka world when it first came out and hated it but when you play really early on it adds a lot.
I set up a bunch of settlements also so I can raid them when doing open season lol 😂
Never liked raiding settlements because of how much work it takes, especially on Survival. I just downloaded a mod that skips Home Sweet Home.
id love to know the stats on that minigun. i usually go the other route (less acc faster fire rate) maby if you can share the upgrades you got on yours in the video so i might be able try it out when i play next
Tri-barrel, explosive legendary effect, gunner sight, no muzzle. That’s it.
explosive legendary for sure
1:50 I like that someone put up a “Celebrate History” banner.

1:35 Did you actually explore first or did you console command in the items? Seems odd that you took your first bit of rad damage right there.
Same i did "speak of the devil" quest and i got a xo2 power when i am level 4😂
That's a Deathclaw, I thought it was some fluff boi coming out of the sewers.
As someone who just started a first playthrough 2 or 3 days ago, I'm pretty much focusing on getting whatever the goods I can find before finding *SettlementMan*
If the game doesn't stop me, why not take the oportunity? 🙂
Bro got splatercanon & x01 power armor lmao
This is very true.
But where can i find that AK looking weapon that you where holding at the beginning?
handmade rifle, nuka cola dlc. when installed adds to commonwealth legendary drops but no ammo!!
@@dembladessufc1229 Thank you, i hear that you can't craft the ammo in the ammo forge ;(
@@samdeboer966 that's right you can't, same for lever rifle ammo from far harbor dlc, but there is traders who sell the ammo you can keep buying it
they stay mostly at level 1-6 even if you come back as lvl 25+
do you always get game starting tips after exploring too much? 😅
Yeah i fell into this pot lol
I did nuka world level 1. I started the commonwealth at level 50
I would have taken the other minigun either way lol
I gotta say there is so much shit to do in this game that its overwhelming but its awesome!
I just hit 200 hrs in a playthrough I'm playing now: 0 main quests complete. 18/20 Bobbleheads; Vault 88 complete (failed, I always fail it; kill the Overseer once entering the Atrium), Nuka-World complete, currently in Far Harbor but not playing the main game yet, I will, though. Automatron complete. All new quests added after update: complete. So, what I'm doing? Collecting components, weapons, armor, certain junk items; have over 300,000 caps (no mods or cheats in any of the above), been to almost every location on the main Fallout 4 map; anything main quest related I stay away from. In a few days I'm going to build in Nuka-World my Legendary/Special weapons/armor museum as I did in my last playthrough. Just want enough Legendaries to do it. I have a 6-story Greenhouse in Vault 88 with 100+ robots attending the crops of Corn, Mutfruit, and Tatos. I have 3 caverns filled with water pumps as far as the eye can see; I currently have over 50,000 Purified Water which I use to make Vegetable Starch and sell for caps. My character will be a millioncapaire by the time I finish this game.
I wonder when all my settlements are completely built with robots and people living in them; every perk (currently level 81), etc., and then start the main game, what that will be like. I'll find out.
Yeah, I had to start a new game. I wanted to see how far I could go with the Railroad and saved it at the secret entrance but what I should have done was save it before going into the church 'cause entering the church completed a main quest. I did have a previous save but it was 1½ hrs back and with my 100+ robots at my Greenhouse driving me insane, I just started a new game.
So, this new game: 0 main quests complete, level 42, at 50 hrs played. Took Vault 88 again (but not at level 1 as I usually do), I have a 5 story building in the atrium that I decided to use as a storage facility instead of a Greenhouse, on the roof is a stairway access tunnel that goes to the far left tunnel (when you walk into the atrium) to a 6 story building where I put garden plots down and then put all 6 stories filled with water pumps (producing 999+ Purified Water a day), and in the other tunnel next to it, with an access corrider on the 3rd floor of the building in the atrium going to a 5 story building that I also plan on using for storage.
All I'm doing at the moment is collecting the 18 Bobbleheads I can get (2 are part of the main game), and collecting junk. That's it. I have 12 empty settlements. I have not been to Sanctuary, Red Rocket near Sanctuary, Concord, or Diamond City. I have yet to do any dlc except the Creation Club dlc that kept crashing my game. I also do not plan on doing any dlc for quite awhile. I also do not use Power Armor at the moment, and my current weapons are a Plasma Infused Combat Legendary Sniper Rifle and a 40mm Legendary Grenade Launcher. I have 10 Strength, 2 Perception, 2 Endurance, 10 Charisma, 1 Intelligence (I have level 3 of Idiot Savant), 10 Agility, and 10 Luck. That's my game so far.
Hey. Where do you find that armor? Is that a mod?
That's the best power armor in the game, X-01. Also it's the rarest.
Not a mod he did side quests and DLCs before doing main quest so he has op gear.
damn you create the urge to play fallout 4 again for the 6969 times again why they not just drop new fallout game that great at this one with story like new vegas damn !!!
First time I’ve ever changed the likes from 1.9K to 2K
AK is a Mod, right, yeah i always grab that power amor and mini Gun!
Most of my characters, I haven’t even rescued Preston. This isn’t because I hate him or anything but Because there’s no point. If I’m not siding with the Minutemen, I’m just gonna leave them in Sanctuary forever. So I usually just ignore them altogether.
RIP to the deathclaw that got dismantled
shredded
"Grab that laser musket" lmao, please Preston. They're already in power armor with a well crafted weapon. So you yell at them to trade it in for a weapon that wasn't good enough before and got it's user killed.
What gun is that at the beginning? Never seen it before

what is your minigun name? mine is so weak
It’s an explosive legendary mini gun. (and I assume he’s maxed out heavy gunner perk and maxed out demo expert perk for it)
Now im about to restart after restarting 3 days in now it will be 5 and ill just have to endure. 😂 Even started playing 76 again some.
