He should’ve use this against cap, I like how he leveled up the things with this suit, to suit the apocalyptic situation, this was the primer suit before Mark 50
Mark 45 is my favorite in the movies. He was just having a blast in that thing cuz he was barely in danger.
Mine too! And thats a really good point! the battle of sokovia was probably the most relaxed I’ve seen tony during a fight of that scale (all things considered 🤣🤣)

@@sehun2193he was making a lot of extra quips during the high stakes moments (like his jokes with rhodey, to natasha and bruce 🍆, how upbeat he was during civilian evacuation, etc) he was way more serious and stressed in less intense situations because those suits weren’t as powerful as the mark 45

I always thought Mark 45 is much more powerful and durable than it's successor the Mark 46. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Great video btw!

@@obscuremcuRight like the mk 46 seems just like a regular armor but he got defeated by 2 super soldiers I know he was holding back but still his older armors were strong enough to move the rotator blades on the hellicarrier and fight of both aliens and extremis Super soldiers who were definitely stronger that either cap of Winter Soldier

I think Mark 45 is the most powerful suit other than suits that use nanotechnology. If he had used Mark 45 in the battle with Cap, he might have won. The Mark 46 was made with modest performance.
Yes! 100% That's why I think its so underrated! the mark 45 is by far the best and most powerful (excluding nanotech suits) and is often overlooked

I agree, and it makes sense since the mark 46 prioritized portability (compacted in a helicopter) and utility (like said in the video) over power
The only reason he “lost” was because he was off guarded and got his suit depowered by the shield

It is the most durable and good looking iron man suit . It is also better than the mark 46 and 47. In fact it is the most powerful suit.

The 45 would of likely done much better than the 46 considered this suit was built for battle, hence why it took little damage and yet the 46 was taking damage from Hawkeye’s arrows
100%!! But to be fair on tony though, I'm sure he wouldn't want to use such a weaponized and powerful suit against his friends. But he probably should have worn it when he went to the siberia hydra base to fight the other winter soldiers with cap and bucky

This was definitely his most powerful non-nanotech suit, he also seemed so much more agile and stronger with it (the infiltration scene in the beginning of the film), i also love the design so much, i hate that it only lasted for a movie
The infiltration scene was with the mark 43 not 45. He made this one after retiring Jarvis as said

The Mark 45 design is probably the best in design, it’s less bulky which mean it very fast in mobility, but it lack the selection of weapon like in Mark 6, which is a bummer but it’s fine.
Agreed! But where it lacks in weapons it more than makes up for in defence and durability!💪🏿

In this armor instead of Jarvis Tony use Friday in Mark 45. While the last times he use Jarvis in Mark 43 armor.

If this suit had gotten more screen-time/better CGI, it would have been more interesting. For me, the Mark 46 is the superior suit.

Best looking suit than 43 tbh, mark 43 is just too much golds in the chests but 45 is all red and a bit gold and i like that

well, we know that Tony didn't just design Mk45 at very last minute, he probably had been working on it for quite some time. To me atleast, it implies that Ultron stole Mk45's schematics, since it was Tony's most powerful suit (unfinished? sure, but it still was the best). so it's the other way around: Ultron resembles Mk45

my favorite suit is mark 85 but i still like mark 4 but if i had to schose ill schose mark mark 85 over mark 45

I’m just wondering why the 45 helmet is so different from the ones before and after.
I honestly don’t have an answer to that question lol it seems like tony just opted for a sleek stylized look for this suit in particular but reverted to the more traditionally shaped armor after this. Maybe the more compact helmet was just too uncomfortable 🤣
@@obscuremcu the 45 is honestly probably in my top 10 armors and I feel like a lot of people wouldn’t like the design but I aways enjoy a little variety in Tony’s suits
@@EzBricks_ Me too! that's why it's tied for my favorite with the mark 4. It's so different to the other suits, yet undoubtedly an iron man armor if that makes sense lol, plus I love the chromed paint job as it makes the suit look so shiny!
Do we know if he can call pieces of the armor like mk 42 and 43 ?
And can the mask retract completly like mk 46 ?
Based on the available information out there plus whats shown to us in the movie, the “official” answer to both would be no, but I personally believe he can call pieces of the armor to him like the 42 and 43! But I think the retractable helmet was new for the mark 46 because it was around that time he began making similar types of technology (like the stark watch) bringing him one step closer to nano tech

Yo dude do you think this suit would work with rhe hulkbuster?
from what I know, the hulkbuster was designed specifically as an extension to the mark 43. but I'm sure if tony made some modifications the mark 45 could still work with it
