Mark 3, 4 and 7 also seem like the strongest ones he ever made. Nanotech is faster and can regenerate but it is structurally weaker it seems like. Mark 5 had a better style than Mark 50 because it was fully mechanical. I'd be interested in the shock damping assembly he used that makes being shot at by a tank actually survivable. 😂
I never realized until much later, but Tony's second suit in Avengers 1 pinpointed the exact time he transitioned from suits he needed outside robotic assistance to suits he could get in and out of himself.

Man, these are some of the best scenes in the entire mcu, no doubt I also love that no matter what, tony has absolutely no problem blasting a hole in his roof
Mark 42 was a prototype not a full battle ready armour so doubt he would have it only coded to him yet. Plus with the ability to call it to him with the chip implants kind of makes it controlled/ coded on the fly to whomever needs it.
I don't usually make excuses to justify flaws in a script, but I think there is a difference between putting a suit on someone and that person being able to use the suit as such. The only reason they use the Iron Patriot is because War Machine's armor was modified by AIM. Where I did have a problem was simply not ordering JARVIS to make an exception for Rhodey, at least to avoid the blatant use of the plot armor (pun intended) if he was going to take the Iron Patriot suit and leave anyway.
I like the concept of nanotech, but I would prefer the nanobots to just come together to form the pieces. These pieces get arranged as more nanobots form more pieces, until the suit is completely assembled. Kind of a mix of the Mark 7 and Mark 85 transformations.
What you described looks like the Model Prime. It basically does what Bleeding Edge does, but it's not fluid. The Mark 50 and 85 are inspired by the Bleeding Edge
There is just something i find cool when Tony walks and his suit gets taken off in Avengers 1. But my all time favorites is the briefcase and the flying assembling suit. But i also liked seeing Tony make gadgets in Iron man 3, it gave him the essence of how it's not the suit that makes him dangerous but the mind behind the suits.
Not sure if anyone feels the same, but the first movie was just so different and special. It also really put into perspective how powerful he'd become. I mean the first film he hung with basically our best planes, and took a shot from a tank.
Which is why in iron man 3 when he couldn’t figure out how to beat killian, in civil war he scanned captain America’s fighting patterns and then countered everything.
I love that suitcase suit scene, the attention to making everything look like it's smaller pieces of metal coming all together to make up a suit is so cool. you can even see it on the faceplate, how it isn't one solid piece like the mark 3 but rather different segments that connect to form it. Stuff like that is why i prefer grounded technology instead of the nanosuits, there's just a sense of genuine cleverness with stuff like this
I have always liked Tonys portable suits, the Mark V still my favorite, stripped down and simple, but cool as hell with tech that is comparatively simple for what Tony is capable of
I don't mind the nanotech stuff but it never looked real to me even when the movies first came out. The phase 1 suits however STILL look amazing after almost 2 decades
Love how Tony literally injects magnets into his body to make suiting up easier but still somehow manages to perfectly aim the Mark 42(?) suit parts to stick themselves to the villain and blow up.
They’re not magnets, they’re repeaters, amplifying signals from his nervous system to allow him to control it with gestures, even without line of sight.
5:41 You're not more stupid just because of lack of concentration where you're flying Tony, that's why you have to look both ways before crossing, even from the air!! 😂😂😂
I love the fact that most of the suits produce the sound of hammer hitting metal from the original creation of mark one. Even Avengers Endgame is finished with that sound in the post credit.
I love iron man bro he has one of the best character arcs ever, he goes from a selfish assholes to making the ultimate self sacrifice for the greater good

Yeah, especially in Ironman 2, Tony and Rhode fought against Vanko's drones 💪
You know, the metal impacts can be replicated using something made from iron dumbells and iron skillet or any utensils made out of iron
