@maturemakeupmasterclass 's brilliant 3 part series on makeup foundation is now available on the platform discussed in this video - I loved this series Michelle, thank you for producing this! Undertone does not change if correctly colour analyzed, skin tone, overtone may change throughout your life and is sometimes a moving target that you will want to consider adjusting your foundation for as your skin changes. This video also includes me giving a brain dump of info in regards to makeup foundation and natural greying hair (2 unrelated topics). Fair skin does not equal cool skin undertone, letting your natural grey hair grow does not change your undertone and correct colour analysis palette, yellow and orange can still add vibrancy to those with natural grey hair, colour analysis is primarily about matching colours to skin and not your chosen hair colour imo 💕⭐️🎨 I am filled with appreciation for everyone in this post! Special thanks to @wiggy_mom42 … check her out too! #carolbrailey #colouranalysis #coloranalysis #sparkle #undertone #naturalbeauty #authenticity #colouranalysistok #coloranalysistok #personalcoloranalysis #personalcolouranalysis #colorseasons #colourseasons #makeupfoundation #greyhair

I think this my favorite of all your video Carol Thank You so much. I absolutely love that you are advocate for authenticity and natural beauty. At first I was not on board with your approach because I was too “makeup-y” of a person, but after several years of following you I have learned so much and become more authentic myself along the way. ❤

Thank you for this video. I had qualms about going gray and still being able to use my seasonal colors, and now I see I have the freedom to do that when the time comes ❤

I really hoped you would also mention what foundation finishes suit each season, like matte, dewy or satin. Would love a video about this. 💖

I can tell you that warm autumns look much better in matte foundations, but can stretch into satin and natural.

Soft seasons usually can go with matte-soft-natural looking finishes, as the bright seasons Winter and Spring can have more dewynes in their foundations plus cool seasons can wear contouring and warm season are with bronzers !

l have pale warm skin, ivory in fact, but much darker, warmer hair and eyes. Over a lifetime, yes, beauty consultants have seen the pale skin and given me pink toned, cool foundation shades that sit on my skin. If I say, no warm please, then I get some strange orange shade. It takes ages to find a light, but slightly warm foundation shade, but I have found one now, love the finish and am sticking to it.

I would advice people before doing your colour analysis,do research to whom you give your money. I've seen many misleading informations regarding colour analysis and you skin shade in foundations and especially going gray hair ! Your undertone never change!

Getting a foundation match has bern hell for decades. It has got worse since I let my greys come through. I am most definitely a warm autumn and some SAs have determined I am cool undertoned. Nope. I am a light medium, warm leaning olive.

I am an True Autumn in 16 palette seasons and i wear only true neutral shades in foundations ,mine can't be a little yellow or a little pink at all. I am fair-light skin and usually korean makeup are having my best shade 21 or 23 in their BB Creams!

Here's my question/dilemma. I've been type a warm Spring by you Carol, and a blue autumn by House of Color. I can clearly see my skin does look better with
"warmer" colors, but I have never had golden or reddish hair of any kind. Maybe in my youth I did, but that was from the sun highlighting my hair, which will make anybody's hair "golden or reddish" but what has come out of my head before any type of natural "sun bleaching" is, at the most, neutral in tone. BTW my hair is a natural level 6 and I've also started going gray (40%). I'm referring to before I even started going gray. Every example shown and described for warm seasons say you'll naturally have red or gold tones to your hair or that's what'll look best. So I'm confused. Do I not look good with my natural hair? There's a flaw in some of these color analysis theories, IMO. I personally think the hair that comes out of your head is important to consider in what colors get recommended for people. It doesn't make sense to suggest people wear golden brown as a neutral if literally nothing on their body mirrors that color. Sorry for the long post, I just feel frustrated and passionate about this.

Carol, thank you for this excellent video! I am happy to know that it is OK for me to keep my silver hair as a true spring. My hair is very similar to one of the ladies you show in this video. Your statements about foundations are helpful as well. As you know because you color typed me, I have a fully warm Undertone but my overtone has a pinkish cast to it. I love your statement about true Springs sometimes having skin that looks like strawberry milk. L O L I can totally identify. I sometimes think that pinkier foundations look better on me than those that are supposed to have a warm undertone. Because of you, I feel like I am really starting to understand my true spring Color story.

I do not do TikTok. Who is Michel, and does she produce anything on UA-cam?
