I am the unicorn. Warm and Clear. Although I look fantastic in aqua blues and they are easy to find, the darker blues tend to be hard. I tell people I like a clear, midnight blue. Not navy but midnight. When it comes to dark blue, everything has been custom-made. They just don't cater to this color combination.
You have helped me see that I am a clear-before I went gray, I resembled Anne Hathaway (in coloring only). Skin tone is neutral, eyes are bright hazel/brown. “Lightest of light & deepest of deep.” Makes sense!
Thanks for including different POCs in your examples! The last slide was also great since we could see the differences of the 6 palettes in that slide. Cheers!
I am warm, light, and clear. I have golden blonde hair and green blue eyes. I feel like blues are some of my best colors. They bring out the blues in my eyes and they are complimentary to my skin tone since they are opposite. I think I can wear all blues well, but the best ones are peacock, teal, and turquoise.
I am a warm. Pure blue is cool without warmth. If you add yellow or red eith one it "warms" blue up giving us a tolerance for it. Best bet is turquoise to teal or periwinkle to indigo on the blue-green and blue-violet blocks
I’m a True Autumn in the 16 palette system. The only blue that looks decent on me is Warm #4 Teal ( it actually looks great on me). Even the navy #3 you have (at least by viewing on screen) will not work for me. It has to be a Marine Navy, which is a bit warmer than that. I love blue but it’s not my friend. Warm greens are.
I saw a summer in a shop. She was wearing the right colours. I didn’t think mousy, I thought she looked really put together, really cool, fresh and pretty. I think summers in their proper colours look amazing. Not mousy at all.
I know of a summer - she has a YT channel with lots of followers. I semi-follow her vids. She's fond of wearing dark colors or black plus dark lipstick and it just feels "off". When she wears lighter, summer colors she looks great (and in harmony). She doesn't look mousy when she's wearing her palette.
It depends on your personality if you like locking intimidating/ gothic you might like dark colors,if you want to seems cheerful and noticed you like bright color.if you like being romantic with impulse control you like delequite colors etc etc 😂
Very timely! Today I am wearing a bright periwinkle tee that, as a soft, needs to be a lot softer. I intend to wash it on hot to tone it down. Frustrating when this happens because I brought swatches to the store…at least it was on sale🙂
Would someone who has the dominant characteristic clear and whose secondary/tertiary characteristic is warm be able to wear all of these blues or would there need to be some adjustments made to the palette?
Doesn’t auburn have a cool undertone to it a lot of the time? And they tend to have brown eyebrows and eyelashes, maybe can tan a little, maybe a neutral skin tone
"The Soft palette is where the four seasons color system let us down." No kidding! My mom had the Color Me Beautiful book. She tried to tell me I was an Autumn, because of my hazel eyes and "honey colors." (She had always described my hair as "dishwater blonde" before.) I knew I had to be a Summer, but I wasn't totally happy with it until the "Soft" was added.
You’re my new favorite channel. I’m learning so much! I hope more people find you.

Love the examples here! Helps so much!
I like that you laid out the charts this way. Thanks

I’m desperate to see more examples of deep autumns with light skin tones. I feel like there’s a really poor representation of them

Yes the four seasons palette let me down. So glad you understand ❤️

Oooh yes. Best blues. Love it.

please put timestamps 🥺
I finally understand I’m cool and deep. You’re saying my hair and eyes have a lot of color was the big clue. Thanks!
I really enjoy the original information and presentation style of your Chanel! Well done! Do you make online colour consultations?
This was so helpful! I hope you guys do more colors!!
What delineates light from cool? Michelle Pfieffer, for example, looks quite similar to some of the light examples.

Wouldn’t a warm and a clear be a bright spring?
Great analysis! Can you repeat this format for other colours?

Summers often have angelic delequite look.they look Rosy or porcelain very romantic and deleqete so colors have to match that 🎉

@@4264127 well that’s more about personal style or preference than colour analysis.
@@cathwalsh9921Yes I'm talking about the psychogial reason you may precive some colors as attractive or not🎉

Curious about those of us with neutral (light) coloring that fall somewhere near the middle between soft and clear.
@@gardensandbees6586 I think maybe I am

It sounds like you're a summer - cool & soft.
Are all grey haired women Summer?
No
Half the clears are springs
Agree! I am a Spring with light brown hair and blue green eyes. I'm surprised they only included winter examples for clear.
