It's about time there was a video with clear and excellent step-by step instruction and explanation of masking, especially with complicated masks, like hair. This has been the biggest struggle for me in Photoshop for MANY years. I have watched tons of videos and this is the FIRST one that not only showed me how to really do it correctly, but explained the entire process and functionality of the software. THANK YOU and Cheers!!!

    Hi Jesus,
I have watched many tutorials with regard to PS techniques, and by far yours are the best for quality, simple understandable explanation on technique and why, you don't take it for granted that the viewer automatically will understand what you are talking about, going at a pace and clarity for all levels of learning can follow. Any body not subscribing to your tutorials channel is certainly missing out on 1st class instruction! I applaud you and you deserve all the success it brings you.

There are several tips to try
      take a bath regularly
      choose loose clothing.
consume plenty of water and tomato juice.
      avoid spicy foods and caffiene.
(I learned these and the reasons they work from Sebs Sweat Blueprint site )

So far one of the better tutorials I've watched. The reason I say this is because so many videos called tutorials are basically the person just working and mumbling and rambling and not really doing any explaining. They're talking to other Photoshop users. I'm sorry but if the video is geared towards intermediate to advanced users they should say that in the title. Or just be honest and say they are too lazy to explain lol.
I've not once during your video had to go back because I didn't understand something or because I felt like I missed something. Thank you. I wish you more views! You deserve it more than the other "So called" tutorials.

Thank you Jesus Javier. Very good tutorial. One step at a time. Easy to follow. I am a beginner. I feel like you studied first your lecture before delivering it. This is what makes you different from other instructors. Other instructors make mistakes during the demo and they try to correct the mistakes by showing many options how to correct them. There is nothing wrong with that except I lost track of the lecture and gets confused on many options...and most of the time, the lecture takes more time than I expected. Of course, I am talking only about myself and my pace to learn. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

As an author who designs her own book covers, I'm rarely able to have my subjects on a solid background as I purchase my images, so masking fine details has been hit and miss (more often miss). This will help the process tremendously. THANK YOU.

When using the Poly Lasso tool, double clicking your mouse will automatically close the selection. The area selected will be defined by all your previous clicking, and then from the point where you double clicked to the beginning point of the selection a straight line will be drawn. If you are using the magnetic lasso tool a magnetic line will be drawn that best fits the pixels of the image. Just a quick tip for closing your manual selections.
