It's easy to forget that before Ringo played this part, it didn't exist. Now it seems like it just had to be like that...
Exactly!!! Brother...you took the words right out of my mouth. It really irritates me to hear people say, Ringo wasn't that great of a drummer. Lol. Like 3 of the greatest musicians the world had ever seen, (John, Paul, and George), would have ever let a bad drummer play in their band. They knew what kind of magic Ringo brought to their sound. Two thumbs up brother. 👍☀️👍
So True! Ringo is a Fantastic Drummer!!!!!
It took Ringo to complete the package. Which is why he was there and not Pete Best or any other drummers they could have used. For this kind of magic that was not just great music but revolutionized it and literally changed the world it took those exact 4 along with that exact producer.
Just like ALL of Ringo’s parts
Absolutely true.
one of the coolest George solos ever did. Rest in peace.
These deconstructions really show us how great Ringo really is. Wow. Perfect choices
Very professional and friendly.
That tom beat on Polythene Pam is so great. Seemingly simple but gives the song such a drive 😊👌
He was as creative as the other 3
The guitar work George does in she came through is extodinary. Melodic, great flow and crisp.
His guitar playing at this point was really on point. He hit a lull in 67 due to all the sitar playing and ignoring guitar but by this time he was back full steam and playing better than ever.
@@guitarswhiskeyandgolf I think it had to due with Eric Clapton giving George a Les Paul Gibson with it light strings (It made bending the strings a lot easier).
I would have liked to hear a bit of Lennon's 12 string guitar playing too.
Actually Paul.
the electric guitar on She Came In Through The Bathroom Window is what made 12 year old me want to play the electric guitar.
People are still are unaware this was the greatest band of all time....the four of them were a power house unmatched
OF ALL TIME
Yes so right. The Beatles changed the music world for ever.
I think most people are aware actually.
If I may....to support your contention that THIS was the greatest band of all time, let me begin on June 4 1964. On that date, the Beatles did something never accomplished before, and as of today, never happened since:
They held down the #s 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 spots on the Billboard Hot 100.
The next week, they "only " held 3 spots in the top 5. However they did have a total of 14 spots of the top 100. Another way of looking at it is...they held 14% of all available spots.
They ended up, after a 7 year recording history, 20 #1 songs, the most of any band, person or group. Still to this day true.
In 1964, ';65, '66, '67, '68, '69, '70 had at least 1 #1 album. In each of these years ( 1967 and 1970 being the exception of "only" 1 album reaching #1 '67 was 'Sgt Pepper's ' and '70 was 'Let it Be' ) they had 2 albums that charted #1! Just how the hell is this possible? Bands struggle mightily to get 1 hit ...1 time... and maybe get lucky and have 1 album hit #1. These guys did 2 albums that reached #1 a year, year after year after year ...except for 1067 and 1970..And the QUALITY of these albums!!!! Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper's, Magical Mystery Tour, White Album, Abbey Road. How in ....
Now THAT is remarkable. Albums like Rubber Soul, Revolver, Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt Peppers, Double White, Help, Hard Day's Night and Abbey Road.
AFTER their break up...INDIVIDUAL performances....Paul had 9 in the #1 spot. Hell even Ringo had a #1 record. Then, they had bands and collaborations .... almost uncountable. John had Platic Ono band , Paul had Wings, Ringo had All-Star and George...holy cow he INVENTED an entirely new genre...that of the live, multi-star, charitable concert.
If one were to take the bands accomplishments, then added to THOSE, all the individual accomplishments.... You could spend all day listening to nothing BUT these artists, and ALL of it being top 10, mostly #1 in singles and albums, and not finish listening to the entire catalogue.
Yeah, I would absolutely say greatest band ever. The statistics prove it.
Post-Beatles, the band itself had best-selling albums. Remakes, Best of's, Remembering. Even a band that started about the same time, was quite popular, and remains popular after some60 years after their 1st hit, can't claim the heights the Beatles climbed. The Rolling Stones, as well-known, as many years touring and recording, can't approach what the Beatles did in 7 years...with the last 4 NOT TOURING AT ALL! 1966 was last tour date.
Freakin incredible.
If we had a scale of modern music of 100 places... worst to best....If #1 is the best..... there is no one at #2, no one at #3. I think other bands don't start coming to the BEST BANDS EVER until you get to 15 or so. Then there is a crowd from 15-30 THAT'S how much better the Beatles were than all the other bands. Most of the "good" bands were in the 30-50 range.
Head and shoulders above the Beatles were .
George's fills on SCITTBR are heavenly. That song is so underrated for the perfection brought in by everyone. Ringo is busy but not in a distracting way, it melds seamlessly. Even John's 12-string is sweet. The vocal harmonies on that are up there with "Because".
Everyone thinks ringo isn’t that good cuz everything great he does fits so well you don’t notice it, but makes the song feel fantastic
When you realize how insanely skilled were Ringo and George and how magical chemistry they had with other two legends Lennon and McCartney, it's like experience a singularity in art . I feel unreal about it.
so true. Its like a metaphysical experience.
Yep. We’ll never have another band like this.
Without Ringo and George, the Beatles would'nt have never existed. Period. ❤️
The backing vocals are so insanely beautiful.
Abbey Road was, by far, their best harmony performance. Their voices were brilliant and complimented each other's tones, inflections and Liverpoolian dialects. Their combined imperfections created perfection.
Paul is amazing.
Yeah, but they were all amazing in this song. They were truly a band here and sound immaculate.
They never cease to amaze me. Ringo is a human metronome! Never missed a beat...
and that swing he’s got. feel is what it’s all about.
Morning, sir!I should like to buy a "Ringo"....
Ringo`s work is just pure art alone.
I love this song. But listening the different parts isolated, I´m amazed on Ringo`s drumming.
Absolute genius lead guitar by George
This is a stellar drum part by Ringo!
Yeah, some sweet fills
If it was him playing! lol
@@rallyboy101 its not Ringo?
@@mr.j.8a910 It might be!, but i think it's widely known (or at least joked about) that he wasn't the best drummer in the Beatles.
@@rallyboy101 Oh, yeah; I heard that. It's an urban legend that John supposedly told a reporter he wasn't the best drummer in the Beatles. No one can cite the source, though.
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Ringo's drumming! He's the best part of this song!! He's every bit as much of a musical genius as the others!! Perfect choices full of originality and personality.
Yes it’s crazy how he has these perfect and distinct arrangements for each individual song. He is also NEVER lost or confused even in rythmically very odd songs like ”Good Morning Good Morning”.
The drumming on Polythene Pam is my favourite Ringo drumming.
What a bassline from Paul
I've got to admit, on every single one of these, I love the Ringo tracks best. The guy is simply a hot potato genius.
Is that a drum machine? Yes, it is called Ringo!
“I AM the fucking click!” ~ Ringo Starr
*10:12*
*She came in through the bathroom window vocals are beautiful man*
" She could steal
but she could not rob ..
Paul's words were always so amazing in this song, it never fails to make me laugh. And also this: After so many years, I'm hearing for the first time how warm the harmonizing vocals are.
Gracious my friend
❤
Simple fantastic. The Vocals, the Instruments, the playing together. One of the best Album ever in Historie.
OMG, this is all soooo great, but listening to the isolated vocals at the end, you'd have to be dead between your ears or in your soul not to know that these guys were effin masters ten times over when they made this final album. So, so humbling.
That's the thing about Ringo-his work is finely tuned to the needs of the song. This doesn't sound like any other of his work yet remains decidedly Ringo
This is one of my favorite set of isolated tracks yet. I know this medley so well. Each element is familiar, but heard in isolation they are beautifully strange, and strangely beautiful. Such amazing music.
Ringo...is never Rongo...on the Bongo. An incredible performance by Richard Starkey. Once again.
Nice sentence and yeah
All of the Macca Basslines are as good as the melodies on top , it does not get any better or more elaborate than this
It's like getting two songs for the price of one.
Ringo was amazing....love the way his drums sound...
That Les Paul has such a nice sound to it. And I can hear some of George's rockabilly influence in his lines!
It's amazing that these were just fragments of songs and they just threw them all together. Pure genius. Even, You Never Give Me Your $ was actually 3 bits of songs Paul had lying around.
Ringos drumming is Brilliantly done...👍🏻 He's one of the best, and my favourite drummer...him and Nick mason ...pink Floyd and the Beatles are the best bands that came from our country.🇬🇧🎸
i’ve always loved this song due to how driving the drums were. so fucking good. ringo carried forsure.
A truly hypnotic bassline. Now I'm thinking about it, it must have been the underlying thing that charmed and hooked me.
Fantastic drumming by Ringo is demonstrated here. Not too much, not too little, just perfect! Always loved his cymbals too. Beautiful!
Que grandes eran. Ringo es un metrónomo humano, las voces, las guitarras y los coros!!

RINGO'S DRUMMING: Like a thick slab of pie. Delish!
Paul's glissandos on the bass are so cool....
THANKS to DLD2 Music! for posting these! It's inspiring how imperfect they were, but then how perfect the were in other areas = A wonderful human mix
You can hear the guide vocal on the guitar track!
Indeed! You can hear it on the master track if you listen close enough.
I listen to Ringo's Drumming ALONE and as a "song" by itself, it's 'musically noted' enough to enjoy (Drums DO have a 'tune' ya know!)
Ringo's floor tom drum head was REALLY loose! And McCartney was SO damn melodic and swings all over the place!
The drums were also impeccably recorded on Abbey Road, too. They sound incredible and full. Ringo’s flawless performances really shine as a result.
@@nepesilva2284it’s literally my favourite drum sound
By deconstructing magic we find much more magic. Geniuses at their finest.
Deconstruyendo la magia encontramos mucha más magia. Genios en su máxima expresión.
I so love the Abbey Road photos. After their experience with Let it Be particularly at the horribly dark twickenham studios it’s nice to see them in their familiar surroundings and as per the outtakes on the 50th showed they recorded most songs as a group (except when Lennon was out recovering) and the result was a spectacular album.
07:05 Polythene Pam's Guitar Solo (George's Guitar Solo)
GH laying it down!
I love how each section is so minimal, not too many beats or notes, just the right amount...and when it all comes together it is so full.
those drums sound huger than any other Beatles’ drum-tracks I’ve heard
Please keep doing these
What a good stuff is all of this “deconstructing…” It’s like re-living The Beatles again!!! And you realize the real dimension of how great they were ♥️
Of course Paul's bass is amazing as usual.
Ringo is the landlord of the pocket.
1:27 simple yet fantastic.
Ringo's toms sound great.
These two songs in sequence are one of the best parts of Beatles criative stuff. Still today I love to hear and pay attention in everything - bass, guitars, durms, backing vocal - and vocal as sure. That’s why Abbey Road is the Beatles album I like most !
So fascinating!!
finally got this gem back
Ringos drumming is off the wall
I've been waiting for this for a while now. Im really happy its finally here!
Always loved She... Never knew I wanted to hear it like this - now I know I want to hear more like this... 😁 Thx man! 👍
RINGO IS THE GREATEST DRUMMER OF ALL TIME!!! ✌🏻
The harmonies at 10:23 on are other worldly.
The swing on that hi-hat.
Lets just take a moment to listen to George sing those fast bass line melodies underneath John and Paul's harmonies in "Polythene Pam" for a second.... No doubt George Martin's work ! Both Georges killed it here !
AND HE STILL PLAYS
Those vocals were nicely done
Your thinking so damn simple I can do that.. but so brilliant you know you never could
Excelente!!!!!
I love them
Paul loves his glissandos !
I also love his glissandos :)
killer heavy drumming By Mr Ringo Fucking Starr.
7:03 - Yeah! Great!
Arte músical al infinito
Was just listening to this on the Let it Be sessions. Totally different.
You'd never get a drum part with this kind of amazing feel in a modern big-hit song. It would all be quantized right to the grid, and end up sounding like Steve Gadd.
I luv this
John exaggerating his scouse accent at 09:52!😊
No one could duplicate the Beatles drum sound...
BadAss😎Ringo😎❤️
❤❤❤❤❤
FINE
Beatles super band
Far out man !
With the isolated vocal I can clearly hear the lyric: And though she thought I knew the answer, well I knew WHAT I could not say. So many times i've seen this printed, 'well I knew, but I could not say'.
I like how either one works. I think “what” is more clever though.
D R U M S
There should be a program that splits up the drum kit into a realistic stereo image.
With these tracks you could easily throw this into adobe audition and remix.
Let's not forget Geoff Emerick and his mastery of recording techniques that are still used today.
Keyth once said something about George's playin'....he couldn't even ride his shoes
What does that mean?
Do you think George used the Fender Twin Reverb or cream-tolex '62 Bassman for his work on these two songs?
Anyone notice Paul’s guide vocals popping in a bit on the guitar track?
me, long ago it made me question if Paul was the guitarist
@@DLD2Music Why? Wouldn't that indicate that he wasn't? John's guide vocals pop up in guitar track of Polythene Pam, as you would expect with a live take.
Ringo had a good gut.
Hardly John Bonham, but in a soft rock world i believe Bingo was the best drummer
Hardly Bonham because it is incomparably better - tell me one track where Bonzo did anything remotely comparable to Ringo's drum work in this one, Good morning, A day in the life, She said, The End or dozens of other masterpieces

2:05 if you pay atention to those handclaps, the time between each one is 8 8 10 8 6, thats a mistake but it sounds great
True
You're right ! I've never noticed this before.
Paul singing on the guitar track
I sang an played the whole album as a book report in high school english class. If you ever come across it ; by Howard Hanson music books- they got opening 12 string chords to Polythene- ALL WRONG.
Bass is Hofner
with rotosound tapes
@@shaneskavdahl3638 To my ears it sounds like his Ric w/flatwounds. I have an old one that nails that exact tone.
