I chose this hotel to celebrate Christmas 2020 with my family.
At the Madeira airport we passed the PCR tests and, while awaiting the results, had to be isolated in a hotel room for 6-12 hours. Therefore, the first dinner was served to us in the room. The next morning we got negative test results and went to inspect the hotel.
From the outside, the hotel really looks like a castle.
The hotel has three swimming pools that are open all year round. 1. Heated pool, 25°C. 2. Ordinary pool, 18°С. 3. Indoor pool, 28°С
The outside area of the hotel is small but cozy. There is access to the promenade and the beach.
The beach next to the hotel is inconvenient for swimming. Better to walk 500 meters along the promenade to the more convenient Reis Magos beach.
I paid for this room (2 adults 1 child, half board) €95 per night.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel are organized as a buffet.
I really liked the hotel. I would have stayed there longer, but I had plans to see a few more hotels in different parts of Madeira.
