Flashed on controller is the same as on m&kb cause it doesn't effect movement. Just vision. If they're barely flashed and can still see everything else would be like normal. If they're flashed and still locking onto you with a white screen... thats sus and you should definitely be reporting them. But you can still aim no problem whatsoever if youre flashed and it starts to wear off... or if you only got partially flashed
Great video, 100% agree. I noticed this when I switched to KBM. Then whenever you stun a person you can tell that they are on controller, but you stun a person on KBM and they have to wait 8 days to get their normal movement back 😂

I can't even count how many Gulags I've lost since season 6 started. I go in start firing on the guy and only after the 5th or 6th bullet does it start registering and I lose.
100% agree. I play on console as well and while standard aim assist is fine IMO, this tracking thing should be taken away completely. Shouldn't get aim assist while stunned.
It's unfair for everyone regardless of your input device right? I mean if a controller player stuns another controller player that aim assist still works against the one that threw the stun.

This is my biggest complaint is stuns. And I always talk to my console/controller buddy about it. I am a high DPI (1600) and ingame (13.2) sensitivity player. It takes me 2ish inches to do a 360 ingame. I can't even move an inch on my screen for 5 seconds. It just doesn't make sense and is the most overpowered tool. The player can toss it.. stun me... run at me... get to me... loop around me.... then decide to melee me all after 5 seconds.
@Mike Mitchell I think the biggest advantage you are missing is probably sound. FPS and hertz of monitor helps for sure. But the ability to use a mixamp to amplify sound is a big advantage over a console. Having a conversation is not crying as much as you are trying to troll. Good day

You do good videos man, you could investigate warezone lobbies and player's unfair latencies, sometimes i can't use snipers because of the latency differences, and sometimes i cant even react when I am shot at, there is something broken with match making

I’m not sure why pc players care so much about aim assist, when they have so many advantages to console players. Ie mouse aim, fov customization, higher frame rates

Im gonna be honest i rlly feel like i never got aim assist when im stunned. I just did it and it really didnt do it. Yes it mad it slower when I crossed them but I did not track him. Maybe only one PC, or maybe its my settings idk.
I feel the same, if I get stunned, I am dead like 100% of the times. I try to aim like everyone else and fire bullets to defend my self a bit, but the disadvantage is immense.
And this is the normal stun grenade. Have you ever met the Gulag stun grenade? Enemy's stun lands somewhere in Verdansk and I'm fully stunned in the Gulag for a good 5 seconds.
Agree 100% this, fps & other areas need to be fixed for console players & hopefully they do for PS5 & Xbox Series X/S then will finally get to stop hearing ppl complain about PC players having higher fov or fps like it gives you an equal or more of an adavantage then having the game help for you with a built in cheat / hack tool that only controller players are allowed to have or use. Since any M+KB player caught using an aim assit would be banned from the game, like they should be.
Thank you for showing a comparison here, as a M&K player I'm basically a sitting duck once stunned. I run stuns in Warzone and I get melted by aim assist on a regular enough basis by a player I have stunned and therefore should be vulnerable. Appreciate the PSA!
Thanks for your work! Even if this is more of an niche issue and not a big problem at all in real gameplay. I think the aim assist worked like that in every previous COD. It wouldn't be a problem if the input based matchmaking would work properly tbh...
Nahhh, I'm running restock with stuns and giving up ghost to get this and I'm always wondering how some of these guys are tracking so fast right after getting stunned - this is a big issue.
For me, the Standard option is the OP one, not the others because of the auto rotation. Precision and Focus do not have this and the slowdown only kicks in at the center of the target unlike the standard which is an invisible big bubble extending far outside the target.
Why does the horrible looting system not get talked about? Surely I can't be the only person that sometimes struggles to pick the specific loot up that I want from a dead player especially when there is loads of it
Btw I’ve fallen to this effect so many times I have a countermeasure: if I know someone is around a corner & use stun to change the fight, I assume they’re on controller, and slow peek instead of blast around the corner. That way you don’t get into their reticle as quickly. In other situations it’s better to slide past them front to back, when you know the aim assist can’t track for a 180 spin.
7 months later and still not fixed, using a stun against someone w aim assist is pointless as most cases you're pushing into a room or through a doorway, up stairs or whatever hence why a stun is used and you die just as fast as if they weren't even stunned as they will ads to the path where the stun came from and its Gg. makes zero sense why this hasn't been fixed. oh wait, they don't care that's right

When you increase FOV it also makes fighting long range targets harder because your targets become smaller. Can't say it's much of an advantage, but more of a tradeoff between peripheral awareness and long range accuracy.
It isn't like you magically grow more screen real estate at 120 - It makes your targets much much smaller to aim at by zooming out, specially in Warzone, it has a big effect considering their is no aim assist to keep you locked on to your target. A lot of PC players don't even go past 100 because of this, and in competitive shooters like another comment mentioned they don't go the full FOV. If you gave PC players an option, likely the vast majority would choose having aim assist over FOV lol - I'd love if they would give you guys FOV though, then you could realize its not as magical as you guys think. On the other hand I have tried playing with controller for the first time in like 5 years on this game and was pretty shocked I was able to jump in and compete right away despite having no practice on a controller and being super uncoordinated with it, largely thanks to aim assist.
@@samwalters1 dude i strongly disagree it took be atleast 4 months playing atleast 5 hours a day till i get the recoil and the aim drag and all that aim stuff related. Its like impossible to learn it moving from controller to mouse. Mainly i play on pc and im on pc for like 7 years and moving into a ps4 seems really weird because im so used to bigger fov. I guess all of this will just come to personal preferences.
Also; I genuinely think the only type of aim assist should be *precision* aim assist. Because it only works if you're aiming, it's essentially just slowdown, it helps me more due to my disability to see visually when I should shoot. The standard aim assist is the COD standard _granted_ but it's too sticky, it's slowdown and rotational. If you're moving your feet and your aiming then it kicks in and it helps you keep your sights on target. With precision, you actually have to be able to aim for it to take effect. It's why I think it's the best aim assist type. Hopefully they put it in Cold War. Because it legitimately helps me so much more with the visual cue. ✌🏻
To add to my comment. might as well split up the lobbies then. Xbox players have been wanting to be able to turn off crossplay in warzone since the start. Never hear a reason from the devs why we can't though.
My opinion on aim assist is that I do agree, you shouldn't have it when you're stunned. But what keyboard players don't understand is that sometimes the aim assist completely screws you. You either lose it, and miss all your shots or if your in an up close gun fight and someone comes directly in front of your face it'll turn you in thr direction of that person instantly and ruin your aim while you're trying to shoot at someone else.
Me and my squad have been experiencing some crazy SBMM lately. The best in the squad has a 1.3 kd and the worst has a .9. We have been in some crazy sweaty lobbies. Anyone else notice this?
It was like a switch was flipped yesterday, I was put in the top tier lobbies (where all the cheaters are) in almost every match yesterday in a long play session, the amount of cheats I died to yesterday had to be a record, and not even slight cheats, full on aimbots.

Aim assist kind of messes up my aim when there are multiple people crossing paths. It crosses a person for me I wish I could adjust the strength of it. I play Dynamic too.
I use standard and really don't notice it much EXCEPT when it causes problems. PC players whining again but they wouldn't trade our 80 degree FOV for their slider that gives them up to 120. Nothing better than getting killed by an opponent who can see more of the map than you can.
I thought this would be another video of a KBM player complaining about aim assist but this makes since. (I play on controller btw). The only thing I don't get is that stuns themselves should be nerfed, not aim assist. There way to powerful in the gulag.
Stun isn't the issue with aim assist. The issue is aim assist has been buffed so much over the years in all games that aim assist is doing more for your aiming then not. Hence every idiot believes sbmm is way stronger now then 5 years ago. Shitters are hitting more shots then they would normally
You can easily counter this by not attacking a stunned player from the front, they're an easy target just slide around behind them or even to their side. It's not "unfair" or "broken", the player who throws the stun already has so much of an advantage in the gunfight. If you die to this, you're using stuns wrong and deserve to lose the gunfight
This was a good video. It covered exactly how I feel about aim assist. Focus and Precision simply shouldn't be options in the game. However, I still think there are more situations to explore to see where else Aim assist could be broken. Quickscoping would be a cool video to check out and see how aim assist differs from M&KB. I hope JGOD makes a video on that.
There's a reason why elite players (including JGOD I believe) play on controller, even on their PC. If you have similar skills on keyboard/mouse as you do on a controller, it behoves you to play on controller. For me, I am not fluent on a controller, so I'm much better on K/M.
Could you do a video on melee, I swear controller players get lunge. I’m sick of landing and having a 1 hp default skint teleport at me and beat me to death. When I melee people it had to be point blank
Ive played with both controller and mouse for a while now, I main mouse. I feel like the way the aim asist helps you easier track a target is slightly op compared to the mouse, also the infinit turning, and you being able to move more dirrections, that being said Im not sure what to do about this, and clearly after a certin skill point the mouse should be better, as it gives a better ability to aim, as long as you have the skill. ATM the controller tracking is too easy to use compared to what skill it takes to track with a mouse. Sorry for my bad English.

Can you do a video on how SBMM works when playing solo/duos, solo /trios and solo/quads? Is the SBMM the same or is it lower when playing without teammates?
It annoys me when you see a PC player complain about AiM AsSiST. It's really not an advantaged at all. People on PC can snap on players 10x faster than console and no matter what gun PC players use, you can control the recoil so much easier.
someone does not watch hander or marksman videos. handler always looks like he is using chronos, and marksman looks like he is actually controlling recoil. dragging your whole arm down a mousepad (that has limited space) and just holding slightly down on your aim stick (unlimited space) are 2 very different things.
yah, but the difference is that we do that with skill. We don't need assistance, cos we use a control set up that doesn't kneecap our ability to play fps games.

Why aim assist needs to go all together. I played fps games with a controller for about 17 years going back to Golden Eye and learned to easily abuse the assisted tug you feel through walls and objects. Put the sensitivity up to high then cheese the tug. It made learning to aim with a mouse feel like I had a handicap and made me realize how much the game was helping me. We have $200 elite/pro/scuff controllers now with high levels of customizable precision while the majority of the mouse users pay $40-60 to then keep the dpi set to 400 (that is low fyi) with low in game sensitivity yet controllers still get hand held with aim assist and bullet magnetism depending on the game. Controllers are on an even playing field these days and aim assist is just teaching bad habits. Habits that have taken me the last 6 years to start breaking. Not to mention the left stick for movement is far superior to the archaic WASD majority still use.
This literally just happened to me... I always run restock when I play solos. Some try hard tried sniping me, I rotate, stun him, jump around the corner out of his cross hairs, he tracks me perfectly fine, I die, his armor breaks. There’s no way that should be a thing. & he got stunned hard, it wasn’t like he was on the edge of the stun radius. That’s never happened to me until you put this video up! Lol
So much of this game is unbalanced.... pc players whether it’s KBM or controller have the clear advantage this little win for console is situational not everyone runs stuns
Pc player invest more money on their hardware its only fair that they have higher fps, i dont think the fov is fair but i think it is more of a hardware limitation on console tho, we will see if the dev allow you to change fov on the next gen console, given that they have much stronger hardware.

Off topic but the AS VAL is seriously broken. I joined some SND matches a couple of days ago and literally the only thing everyone was doing is shooting the spawns with the broken penetrating rounds. I used to play SND all day but not anymore.

Love the video! Agree with what you said regarding stuns on controller vs M&K and aim assist on controller. I would love to see you make a comparison video with M&K vs. Controller and all the different aim assist settings and how that relates to "staying" on target during a gunfight once you're on target. And the ability to jump around and take aim punch and still stay on target. I feel like in this game with a controller once you are on a person and begin spraying them down even if you take shots during the gunfight it's still easier to maintain tracking on that player and more shots hit the player whereas with mouse and keyboard with aimpunch it's much more difficult to track the player, controll recoil, jump around and actually make shots hit. What I'm saying is once a controller player with aim assist is on target (in a close to mid-range spray down gunfight, aka meta) their on target. And I feel like with even a semi skilled controller player they're not coming off target. And more shots are going to hit the target. Players with M&K have to be absolutely perfect and track absolutely perfectly. Lot easier for controller players. Basically what I'm saying is two players in an open environment lets say 25 meters apart. Same assault rifle same attachments. Both start shooting at the chest at the same time. Who wins the gunfight? Controller player with aim assist or M&K player? I say 100% of the time controller player because of aim assist. My issue with aim assist is not with it helping somebody get on target. Its the ability that they have to stay on target once they get their vs. M&K.
Same here, a lot of times with ground loot weapons in the first 2 minutes, but sometimes also with my custom loadout AMAX for example... Doesn't make any sense and it's really unfair because I lose gunfights to people that I would normally win from.
This is true, aim assist is op while stunned Also aim assist is op while blind scanning on terrain. For example when you can't see a player but you know they are there because your "getting aim assist " slow down

On my restock class (w/ riot shield) I only run flash now. I changed several weeks ago because I'd stun, sometimes twice in a row and still lose the gun fight. It was very frustrating that they could aim assist on me as I jumped left or right to get out of their LOS. That does not happen with flash....way more effective for Warzone.
Iam not gonna blame anyone but i ran to someone with amax and vlk scope locking on me from 100 metrs beaming to death while i try to snipe him in the killcam almost no recoil and easy tracks ngl kinda op in my opnion

Keyboard/mouse players got more advantages like 120 FOV, more fps, easier jumping while shooting etc. Why do you think they should remove this advantage of consoleplayers? Removing this would make things more unfair.

And OP is stating that PC already has advantages that console doesn't, PC players can jump, slide, and duck without affecting your aim. While console players have to let go of the joystick to jump, slide, or duck hindering their aiming. Now you can say use a scuff controller, yes but I shouldn't have to spend more money to be sub par to PC.

Haven't tried this while stunned but in my experience with controller if someone jumps across me at close range if I'm aiming straight forward aim assist drags me (this is the only time it even works) but it drags me behind the player and it won't let me correct to try and stop it. That's something that definitely needs to be removed because 90% of the time I would win the fight if not for aim assist being garbage which is why I turn it off as it's completely useless.
I don't think keyboard and mouse players should have nothing to say about aim assist with there huge fov and hundred buttons so they can assign the buttons to do anything how bout keyboard mouse players play each other and let controller players play each other
I play on PS4 and you can really feel the slow down of aim assist before the enemy pop out form behind a wall so its possible to know if someone is behind a wall before you can see hom. I normally know someone is going to challenge a lane before he appears.
The drop shot and jump shot are both some of the mosr important moves in fights unfortunately on controller you have to choose one either tactical for drop shot or stick and move for jump shot you cant do both. On Pc you can do everything including have better aim yet they'll still complain about aim assists every single time
Honestly key board and mouse have enough advantages that aim assist is just fine. Let’s not forget how much consoles are at a disadvantage compared to pc as well. That better be fixed with the new consoles or the ability to turn cross play off in warzone.

I think... Aim assist rotation should be removed. I have zero issue with aim assist slowdown considering the limited range of motion you have with a joystick and potential lack of precision overall. Focusing and precision should probably be removed because they're a little excessive in the slowdown/stickiness department. Its really annoying when you're fighting a controller player up close as a K&M and they basically get somewhat free tracking on you as long as they know to strafe. I'm not going to sit here and be like its aimbot, but it is kind of unfair when you get helpful tracking even to a small extent, especially in dark areas or when people drop shot and stuff and you cant see anything through the muzzleflash/smoke/recoil. Make controller players have to actually aim while strafing in close range gunfights too...
You know a guy is trash if he says "controllers are broken" while having these advantages on PC. #1 FoV slider #2 long range precision #3 Graphics settings #4 very low input lag #5 insane movement (jumping while shooting and being able to slide while shoot with the same settings) #6 more fps than a regular console. #7 2 dimensional input device (mouse) which makes it easier to aim and flick between targets #8 being able to rage quit by saying "ItS a cOnTrolLeR pLaYeR"

This is my biggest complaint is stuns. And I always talk to my console/controller buddy about it. I am a high DPI (1600) and ingame (13.2) sensitivity player. It takes me 2ish inches to do a 360 ingame. I can't even move an inch on my screen for 5 seconds. It just doesn't make sense and is the most overpowered tool.
The player can toss it.. stun me... run at me... get to me... loop around me.... then decide to melee me all after 5 seconds.

@Mike Mitchell I think the biggest advantage you are missing is probably sound. FPS and hertz of monitor helps for sure. But the ability to use a mixamp to amplify sound is a big advantage over a console.

I’m not sure why pc players care so much about aim assist, when they have so many advantages to console players. Ie mouse aim, fov customization, higher frame rates

Im gonna be honest i rlly feel like i never got aim assist when im stunned. I just did it and it really didnt do it. Yes it mad it slower when I crossed them but I did not track him. Maybe only one PC, or maybe its my settings idk.
I feel the same, if I get stunned, I am dead like 100% of the times. I try to aim like everyone else and fire bullets to defend my self a bit, but the disadvantage is immense.

Hes comparing using a high sensitivity. I use a 5, and my aim assist does not act like his was in the video. It's just not even a proper comparison.

And this is the normal stun grenade. Have you ever met the Gulag stun grenade? Enemy's stun lands somewhere in Verdansk and I'm fully stunned in the Gulag for a good 5 seconds.

Agree 100% this, fps & other areas need to be fixed for console players & hopefully they do for PS5 & Xbox Series X/S then will finally get to stop hearing ppl complain about PC players having higher fov or fps like it gives you an equal or more of an adavantage then having the game help for you with a built in cheat / hack tool that only controller players are allowed to have or use. Since any M+KB player caught using an aim assit would be banned from the game, like they should be.
Thank you for showing a comparison here, as a M&K player I'm basically a sitting duck once stunned. I run stuns in Warzone and I get melted by aim assist on a regular enough basis by a player I have stunned and therefore should be vulnerable. Appreciate the PSA!

Nahhh, I'm running restock with stuns and giving up ghost to get this and I'm always wondering how some of these guys are tracking so fast right after getting stunned - this is a big issue.
I just died from a stunned enemy who aimed at least this fast and I thought they were hacking. This needs to be fixed.

For me, the Standard option is the OP one, not the others because of the auto rotation. Precision and Focus do not have this and the slowdown only kicks in at the center of the target unlike the standard which is an invisible big bubble extending far outside the target.

Btw I’ve fallen to this effect so many times I have a countermeasure: if I know someone is around a corner & use stun to change the fight, I assume they’re on controller, and slow peek instead of blast around the corner. That way you don’t get into their reticle as quickly. In other situations it’s better to slide past them front to back, when you know the aim assist can’t track for a 180 spin.
I’d take fighting someone with aim assist over hackers any day. Hackers seem to be a bigger issue for me

7 months later and still not fixed, using a stun against someone w aim assist is pointless as most cases you're pushing into a room or through a doorway, up stairs or whatever hence why a stun is used and you die just as fast as if they weren't even stunned as they will ads to the path where the stun came from and its Gg. makes zero sense why this hasn't been fixed. oh wait, they don't care that's right

100% agree. You play a situation well with a stun + bunny hop then the opponent tracks you perfectly doesn't seem right.

Well if you're K&M, good luck not getting melted medium to close range to a mediocre player
When you increase FOV it also makes fighting long range targets harder because your targets become smaller. Can't say it's much of an advantage, but more of a tradeoff between peripheral awareness and long range accuracy.
It isn't like you magically grow more screen real estate at 120 - It makes your targets much much smaller to aim at by zooming out, specially in Warzone, it has a big effect considering their is no aim assist to keep you locked on to your target. A lot of PC players don't even go past 100 because of this, and in competitive shooters like another comment mentioned they don't go the full FOV. If you gave PC players an option, likely the vast majority would choose having aim assist over FOV lol - I'd love if they would give you guys FOV though, then you could realize its not as magical as you guys think. On the other hand I have tried playing with controller for the first time in like 5 years on this game and was pretty shocked I was able to jump in and compete right away despite having no practice on a controller and being super uncoordinated with it, largely thanks to aim assist.

I guess all of this will just come to personal preferences.
I agree needs to be balanced. But what about FOV and frame rate? To truly be balanced and competitive there should only be “1” setting for these lol.
Also; I genuinely think the only type of aim assist should be *precision* aim assist.
Because it only works if you're aiming, it's essentially just slowdown, it helps me more due to my disability to see visually when I should shoot.
The standard aim assist is the COD standard _granted_ but it's too sticky, it's slowdown and rotational.
If you're moving your feet and your aiming then it kicks in and it helps you keep your sights on target.
With precision, you actually have to be able to aim for it to take effect.
It's why I think it's the best aim assist type.
Hopefully they put it in Cold War.
Because it legitimately helps me so much more with the visual cue.

My opinion on aim assist is that I do agree, you shouldn't have it when you're stunned. But what keyboard players don't understand is that sometimes the aim assist completely screws you. You either lose it, and miss all your shots or if your in an up close gun fight and someone comes directly in front of your face it'll turn you in thr direction of that person instantly and ruin your aim while you're trying to shoot at someone else.

Me and my squad have been experiencing some crazy SBMM lately. The best in the squad has a 1.3 kd and the worst has a .9. We have been in some crazy sweaty lobbies. Anyone else notice this?
It was like a switch was flipped yesterday, I was put in the top tier lobbies (where all the cheaters are) in almost every match yesterday in a long play session, the amount of cheats I died to yesterday had to be a record, and not even slight cheats, full on aimbots.

Aim assist kind of messes up my aim when there are multiple people crossing paths. It crosses a person for me I wish I could adjust the strength of it. I play Dynamic too.

This is a bigger issue to me than stun grenades. I hate missing shots because someone else crosses my aim and pulls aim assist off my target.
I use standard and really don't notice it much EXCEPT when it causes problems. PC players whining again but they wouldn't trade our 80 degree FOV for their slider that gives them up to 120. Nothing better than getting killed by an opponent who can see more of the map than you can.

Stun isn't the issue with aim assist. The issue is aim assist has been buffed so much over the years in all games that aim assist is doing more for your aiming then not. Hence every idiot believes sbmm is way stronger now then 5 years ago. Shitters are hitting more shots then they would normally
You can easily counter this by not attacking a stunned player from the front, they're an easy target just slide around behind them or even to their side. It's not "unfair" or "broken", the player who throws the stun already has so much of an advantage in the gunfight. If you die to this, you're using stuns wrong and deserve to lose the gunfight
This was a good video. It covered exactly how I feel about aim assist. Focus and Precision simply shouldn't be options in the game. However, I still think there are more situations to explore to see where else Aim assist could be broken. Quickscoping would be a cool video to check out and see how aim assist differs from M&KB. I hope JGOD makes a video on that.

There's a reason why elite players (including JGOD I believe) play on controller, even on their PC. If you have similar skills on keyboard/mouse as you do on a controller, it behoves you to play on controller.
For me, I am not fluent on a controller, so I'm much better on K/M.

Ive played with both controller and mouse for a while now, I main mouse. I feel like the way the aim asist helps you easier track a target is slightly op compared to the mouse, also the infinit turning, and you being able to move more dirrections, that being said Im not sure what to do about this, and clearly after a certin skill point the mouse should be better, as it gives a better ability to aim, as long as you have the skill. ATM the controller tracking is too easy to use compared to what skill it takes to track with a mouse.

It takes much more skill to hit targets with a mouse thana controller, though after a certin skill cap, the mouse is prob the better option, as it should be.

It annoys me when you see a PC player complain about AiM AsSiST. It's really not an advantaged at all. People on PC can snap on players 10x faster than console and no matter what gun PC players use, you can control the recoil so much easier.

someone does not watch hander or marksman videos. handler always looks like he is using chronos, and marksman looks like he is actually controlling recoil. dragging your whole arm down a mousepad (that has limited space) and just holding slightly down on your aim stick (unlimited space) are 2 very different things.
yah, but the difference is that we do that with skill. We don't need assistance, cos we use a control set up that doesn't kneecap our ability to play fps games.

Why aim assist needs to go all together. I played fps games with a controller for about 17 years going back to Golden Eye and learned to easily abuse the assisted tug you feel through walls and objects. Put the sensitivity up to high then cheese the tug. It made learning to aim with a mouse feel like I had a handicap and made me realize how much the game was helping me. We have $200 elite/pro/scuff controllers now with high levels of customizable precision while the majority of the mouse users pay $40-60 to then keep the dpi set to 400 (that is low fyi) with low in game sensitivity yet controllers still get hand held with aim assist and bullet magnetism depending on the game. Controllers are on an even playing field these days and aim assist is just teaching bad habits. Habits that have taken me the last 6 years to start breaking. Not to mention the left stick for movement is far superior to the archaic WASD majority still use.
This literally just happened to me... I always run restock when I play solos. Some try hard tried sniping me, I rotate, stun him, jump around the corner out of his cross hairs, he tracks me perfectly fine, I die, his armor breaks. There’s no way that should be a thing. & he got stunned hard, it wasn’t like he was on the edge of the stun radius. That’s never happened to me until you put this video up! Lol
So much of this game is unbalanced.... pc players whether it’s KBM or controller have the clear advantage this little win for console is situational not everyone runs stuns

Pc player invest more money on their hardware its only fair that they have higher fps, i dont think the fov is fair but i think it is more of a hardware limitation on console tho, we will see if the dev allow you to change fov on the next gen console, given that they have much stronger hardware.

Off topic but the AS VAL is seriously broken. I joined some SND matches a couple of days ago and literally the only thing everyone was doing is shooting the spawns with the broken penetrating rounds. I used to play SND all day but not anymore.

This is for my fellow controller players; not sure if I'm losing my mind, but does it seem like the aim assist disables at times? (I don't mean in the settings) I swear against some PC players its like the game shuts it off, but then the next guy who seems to be a controller player, my aim is snappy and on target.
As a PC player who always sees the aim assist lock to my center and stay there, I can tell you it doesn't do it against PC players lmao.

Love the video! Agree with what you said regarding stuns on controller vs M&K and aim assist on controller. I would love to see you make a comparison video with M&K vs. Controller and all the different aim assist settings and how that relates to "staying" on target during a gunfight once you're on target. And the ability to jump around and take aim punch and still stay on target. I feel like in this game with a controller once you are on a person and begin spraying them down even if you take shots during the gunfight it's still easier to maintain tracking on that player and more shots hit the player whereas with mouse and keyboard with aimpunch it's much more difficult to track the player, controll recoil, jump around and actually make shots hit. What I'm saying is once a controller player with aim assist is on target (in a close to mid-range spray down gunfight, aka meta) their on target. And I feel like with even a semi skilled controller player they're not coming off target. And more shots are going to hit the target. Players with M&K have to be absolutely perfect and track absolutely perfectly. Lot easier for controller players. Basically what I'm saying is two players in an open environment lets say 25 meters apart. Same assault rifle same attachments. Both start shooting at the chest at the same time. Who wins the gunfight? Controller player with aim assist or M&K player? I say 100% of the time controller player because of aim assist. My issue with aim assist is not with it helping somebody get on target. Its the ability that they have to stay on target once they get their vs. M&K.

Same here, a lot of times with ground loot weapons in the first 2 minutes, but sometimes also with my custom loadout AMAX for example... Doesn't make any sense and it's really unfair because I lose gunfights to people that I would normally win from.

On my restock class (w/ riot shield) I only run flash now. I changed several weeks ago because I'd stun, sometimes twice in a row and still lose the gun fight. It was very frustrating that they could aim assist on me as I jumped left or right to get out of their LOS. That does not happen with flash....way more effective for Warzone.

And OP is stating that PC already has advantages that console doesn't, PC players can jump, slide, and duck without affecting your aim. While console players have to let go of the joystick to jump, slide, or duck hindering their aiming. Now you can say use a scuff controller, yes but I shouldn't have to spend more money to be sub par to PC.

Haven't tried this while stunned but in my experience with controller if someone jumps across me at close range if I'm aiming straight forward aim assist drags me (this is the only time it even works) but it drags me behind the player and it won't let me correct to try and stop it. That's something that definitely needs to be removed because 90% of the time I would win the fight if not for aim assist being garbage which is why I turn it off as it's completely useless.
They need to make it where you can turn off crossplay with PC players. PS4 players can but not Xbox or PC.
You can turn crossplay off for multiplayer but it won't let you search for a WZ match without crossplay enabled
Still even if you do you end up with Pc players but with controller
you can do this on Xbox, just search on google lol

I don't think keyboard and mouse players should have nothing to say about aim assist with there huge fov and hundred buttons so they can assign the buttons to do anything how bout keyboard mouse players play each other and let controller players play each other

I play on PS4 and you can really feel the slow down of aim assist before the enemy pop out form behind a wall so its possible to know if someone is behind a wall before you can see hom. I normally know someone is going to challenge a lane before he appears.
Yeah exactly, I'm a PC player and I've seen this a lot in my killcams in Warzone, it's so stupid.
The drop shot and jump shot are both some of the mosr important moves in fights unfortunately on controller you have to choose one either tactical for drop shot or stick and move for jump shot you cant do both. On Pc you can do everything including have better aim yet they'll still complain about aim assists every single time
Or you can play claw or with paddles so you're not right.

Honestly key board and mouse have enough advantages that aim assist is just fine. Let’s not forget how much consoles are at a disadvantage compared to pc as well. That better be fixed with the new consoles or the ability to turn cross play off in warzone.

I think... Aim assist rotation should be removed. I have zero issue with aim assist slowdown considering the limited range of motion you have with a joystick and potential lack of precision overall. Focusing and precision should probably be removed because they're a little excessive in the slowdown/stickiness department. Its really annoying when you're fighting a controller player up close as a K&M and they basically get somewhat free tracking on you as long as they know to strafe. I'm not going to sit here and be like its aimbot, but it is kind of unfair when you get helpful tracking even to a small extent, especially in dark areas or when people drop shot and stuff and you cant see anything through the muzzleflash/smoke/recoil. Make controller players have to actually aim while strafing in close range gunfights too...
You know a guy is trash if he says "controllers are broken" while having these advantages on PC.

#2 long range precision
#3 Graphics settings
#4 very low input lag
#5 insane movement (jumping while shooting and being able to slide while shoot with the same settings)
#6 more fps than a regular console.
#7 2 dimensional input device (mouse) which makes it easier to aim and flick between targets
#8 being able to rage quit by saying
"ItS a cOnTrolLeR pLaYeR"
Lol, I play both and will still confidently say aim assist is a little bit to strong. Should get just a tad nerf, but focusing and precision shouldn’t be in the game

@JGOD, great video and it clearly shows how aim assist is broken in favour for controller players. Can you PLEASE make a video about how aim assist also makes the "flinch" non existant when getting hit compared to KBM, were you're aim will go all over the place. This makes gun fights also in favour for controller players.
