Night lighting is so much better. They should have placed the whole thing in a show building for the entire ride. Some more dinos would have been nice.
Having a dino come out of the broken gate/fence would have been epic. Velociraptors popping up in the pen and some like blue coming at the boat would have added so much more.
How about in the area before you go up the lift hill, there could be two big emergency exit doors on the right side of the tunnel, that look like they are about to BUST open at any time, as we hear a velociraptor (with it’s head banging and Furious claw sratching) trying to break down the doors! 😨😁😃
@@jonathanwallis3300 that would be awesome, maybe one of the doors can sort of breakdown and we can see the raptors claws getting through. nice way to add anxiety ala haunted mansion corridor of doors
what I was thinking is that an animatronic arm of the indominus would reach out and try to grab the guests in the boat as they pass by the bent bars of its enclosure. I highly doubt that it will ever come to frution, but I feel as if that would pay respects to the old jeep falling in the jp version.
Or even adding special effects blue and green lighting to the predator area because of how dark it is? Can’t see crap in there. And also adding the new raptor from the new Jurassic World 2 movie?
It’s better at night because the forest scene (where the T-Rex and the Indominous Rex is) is also nighttime. In Daytime, on the other hand, is bright, so once you go into the forest it’s confusing because all of a sudden it’s dark even though you’re supposed to be in an outdoor setting.
This is a thing a lot of people seem to ne confused about, it looked to me like this was a recreation of Rexy's T. Rex Kingdom enclosure from Jurassic World, which was a big building full of trees to make it look like a forest, which is the same thing we see here. It's not supposed to be a real outdoor forest.
This is the best video I have seen. I could actually hear what was going on. On other videos all you hear are the noisy bloggers yelling and screaming. Thank you!
For everyone complaining about lighting in the aquarium tanks, this is a technical rehearsal. Ride is not open just yet, they’re testing the ride still just with guest now. They’ll be doing day, night, and rain sequences when the ride is officially open and operational.
I dislike how during the scene with the destroyed predator cove their is a lack of dinosaurs and sfx, like what if they put in a storm drain with iron bars over it, then the baryonyx would emerge and lunge at the bars. Or another idea would be a rehash of the falling car scene but it would be the mangled and smashed remains of Zach and Grey's gyrosphere. Another complaint of mine is that they could have done so much more with the herbivores like maybe right before you enter the carnivore cove you would see a dying apautosuarus with deep wounds. Sorry for making this comment so long but I would lake to start a conversation in the comments.
@@dillonohlemiller9027 yes in fact I wish they could hold a massive delay (they obviously won't) and add more herbivores and some more carnivores, A stygimologh would be nice.
Even a simple animatronic like the fighting compys or making the little pterodactyls move would add suspense. Or some noise/movement by unseen predators behind the fences to build suspense
The indoor section felt a bit too forced, how its crammed with lots of dinosaurs as filler instead of adding to the story. I like the old hydroelectric plant setting more as it felt more natural instead of an indoor “nature” setting which doesn’t make much sense to me. However major improvement on the animatronics
Reynard Misae I think they themed it as the t rex own habit of forest and the indominus rex is a smart dinosaur so it could have meaning and well I like that there is a lot of dinosaurs packed because you wont be able to focus on one for all the action going on.
Big Chungus God I like the point of chaos where all mashes into one. But as Ian Malcolm said “Life Finds a Way” so that would mean JWorld did not learn from JPark’s mistakes by building an artificial enclosed indoors habitat for a TRex
Reynard Misae honestly after seeing this ride I was thinking it could shut down more time and nail it out. My "perfect" Jurassic world ride is going up and opening the mosasoraus aquarium, after that I feel like they should add some triceratops instead of stegasoruas. After that they can use some more space and move the raptor containment where the dinosaur in the water is. Blue could pop out of his area and roar at the boat. Then it's all calm going into predator cove. You see all the disaster the indominus rex did. Where the turn is they can put their indominus rex head there trying to bite the boat. The indominus rex cant get to you so you go up to t rex kingdom. I feel like it would be scary and not dumb to put screens playing the indominus rex going up with you still trying to eat you. Before the little drop there can be a screen of the indominus attempting another bite. You hear Chris pratt saying "the indominus rex alerted the t rex do not move!" If they still have the t rex head they can put it back where it was. The t rex is now mad at the boat and trying to eat you now. When leave that section you hear the indominus roar. You turn and see the indominus and then the t rex pops out and there goes the drop. It my "perfect" ride opinion.
People were complaining about Jurassic Park in the first place so now that Universal gave them another new ride, they are complaining again. People are so ungrateful.
The only thing they's need to work on next is - Night mode -Better movement of the dinosaurs in predator cove -More dinosaurs in the middle part Other than that, it was a great improvement
Im sad to see so many people hate on this. Its ok to nitpick, since 1. Its def not perfect and 2. Its soft opening, so some technical kinks are being worked on still. But this ride needed this. Before the change, alot of the features werent working, and looked runned down. But besides predator cove, which could use some gyrosphere/ another animatronic action, and that ending, its pretty solid. Use of screens were great and not over done. And apparently that I-rex is supposed to show claws and all, but apparently there was a fire/technical issues with that part, so they need to fix that
Tbh although the original is better, I still think this is an amazing ride and would love to go on it again and again. And from the looks of it and reactions of the riders, it’s obviously better i person rather than some pixels. better take a trip to universal, eh?!
Trey Northcutt something that I’ve noticed after watching about ten videos of this ride is that not all of them sync or hit the mark in this last scene which is strange???? Like I’ve seen a few where the T-Rex has perfect timing and it’s scary as hell. Then I see the rides where like this one, the reaction time is awkward. I even saw a video where the people were stalled about twenty feet before the drop and the animatronics were already reset/stopped by the time the vehicle started moving again. I really hope they fix this because when the T-Rex actually syncs up, it’s super cool!
I still fail to understand why you now enter Predator Cove willingly. Previously, the second Parasaurolophus would get startled by the raft and accidentally kick it off course. Also, the now missing compsognathus, that fought over the empty popcorn bucket, were a small sign that things were about to get ugly.
On the original ride, the Parasaurolophus rising up out of the water knocks you off "the intended course" and into the Raptor area triggering all of the alarms going off, etc. What's the point of still having it there, if that's the way you're already meant to go??? Oh, wow. They sure trained her really well to stay there all day to gently push the raft tours in the right direction! Seriously?!
I feel like they should take out the parasaurolopos and put a triceratops instead and well you go up the "maintenance area" as preparing so go inside the Rex's jungle. But since the indominus rex left he caused dinosaurs to get there as well.

The runout is shorter in this one because of a lack of space. Islands of adventures and Osaka had more to work with. If you look at early videos when breaks weren't installed yet, you can see that the boats took the turn after the splash with a bit of speed.
The more you think about it, the less sense this ride makes. On a side note, its nice to see some of these units running at about 24% capacity. God forbid they utilize that money to make the existing technology feel smoother and more life like.

ZAID- They were already fighting. They just roared and then when you drop, they fight. It's sad that there's no fight to look at, but it's happy to use your imagination.
Making them fight would be impossible
