The woman who was attacked is the person who should be blurred out, because of what happened. I can't understand why this was not done by the TV crew !! Police won't mention the appearances of the perps, doesn't matter, because someone else did film the two women and the old man sitting behind the victim. So on the other videos you can see the three clearly.
This could happen to any of us.Dealing with these unstable people is traumatic ,and to have to do it daily will turn you into a mental nutcase yourself. I always have something on me to protect myself but unless it's a gun you really don't have anything Unfortunately we're all one attack away from some lunatic unaliving us.LAPD better go back to putting undercover on the train like they said they did in the early 2000's.Prayers for a speedy recovery.
Someone who is violent is only going to understand violence; there is little to no reason in trying to talk to these people out of what they are doing.
The security and ambassador or not riding the train they just on the platform they need to be on the trains at all time you have three of ambassador hanging out together one of them should be each cart all time ambassador's do is give directions.. not securing the perimeter also you need to hire some of those not nobody that are 18 just fresh out of school
I witneessed a robbery on the Metro train before. It happened so fast no one could intervene. There were no authorities present on the train. The suspects stole a phone when the train arrived at a station and while the exit doors were open.
Straight Up Hate Crime She She Be Able To Sue Metro Where's A Lawyer?!? She should have had armed guards not um armed "ambassadors" We all deserve to have Metro patrolled with armed Guards and Police
I've been on the trains many times and the overwhelming amount of them have been perfectly safe. I have also seen police officers routinely boarding on and off the cars. Incidents occur all over this city and I believe that it's still more dangerous driving a car around L.A.
All the lines are potentially dangerous. You can tell by body language and facial expressions who to avoid, if there's even room or space to do that. Be on alert all the time,be it walking around or on a bus/ train. Don't assume the police or train operator will help. Seen my share of screamers who are homeless,and I go to a different car, or wait for another train. But remember, it's not always homeless people acting out ! Any angry idiot is somebody to watch. And this crime was a racially motivated one. The police directly lie when claiming it's not. And, they do want high crime rates, because it justifies their massive budgets. The rest of the world thinks Americans are bad news, and crazy. No wonder that record numbers of people are leaving this country and not returning !!

Thousands of successful trips everyday compared to the few times that there is someone dangerous on the train or bus nearby is not a reason to avoid public transportation. Those same dangerous people are everywhere, not just on the train. I never take police presence as an absolute security to my well-being but if they are on the car that you're on, the possible crazy person in that car is definitely not looking at you. They are probably thinking that the cops are following them. Mace, or some type of repellent can save you from an animal attack in the city too. I've seen a coyote just walking along the sidewalk in a Santa Monica neighborhood. It wasn't wearing a collar and I'm sure that it was hungry.
The people who attacked the woman were NOT homeless !! This is a purely RACIST crime ! Homeless people have their possessions with them. These people who did this are locals from the Long Beach area. That city has a bad reputation,has for decades now . I wouldn't live there knowing what I do. And, while the old man sitting behind the victim had his hand blurred, his face wasn't. All three of them were clearly filmed, so they'll be easy to find.
And a marine steps in and chokes a dude and might go to prison we need to get all the bureaucrat pigs out of office the people need to start dealing with these thugs again like it was the 1800 s
Told ya! Metro security and Metro "fancy green" Ambassadors are nowhere to be found when there is a crime happening! They and Wiggins should all be FIRED NOW!! Slambassadors are useless!! Take away all that money and give it to Metro operators and custodial staff!

As an armed guard, this is what happens when the city disarms us and hires unarmed ambassadors in the name of SECURITY.
Would being armed or not have made any difference here? There just wasn’t anyone there to stop the attackers until the Good Samaritan stepped in.
