Recently I have thought where my musical roots are: Before listening to classical music properly (started at 14) , even before Elvis (On whom I had a little crush at the age of 11. I was devastated when my parents told me he had passed over many years ago. He seemed to be so young in the movies.) before my little Intermezzo with Queen in my early thirties, before all that I would listen to the Great American Songbook without even knowing it. Gershwin, Porter, Mercer. American Xmas Songs. etc. I absolutly loved those old Musical Movies from the 40ies, 50ies, 60ies with Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and so on. So I thought it would be nice to record some more songs from this catalogue. Starting with X-mas songs. It's the season you know.
