Not long after midnight I am feeling blue
The moon shines so bright, he's just a fool.
Came out of nowhere with all his love and care
I opened up but he was gone.
He's old enogh, bright, a bit boyish too
Lived lots of live to the brim
Now all caught up by the public eye
Still in the limelights but never, never being seen.
The world is all dark outside, it's getting a bit cold
The stars have put on their lights, time's on a hold
I haven't fallen for him, kept most of my feelings within
Thank Heaven: I am not in love.
I didn't force him, did not attract him
I did not lure im in my nest
I did no make him, manipulate him
To show me I am his love interest.
Dawn is arriving now, birds make ready to sing
The Sun is about to rise, there is a fresh gleam
Most men are mysteries, this taught us history
I have given up to see, life just goes on.
