It was in springtime, spirits were up
The sun was shining bright on a working day
Me and my cat had gone out for a little walk.
We went to town, some birds had a "chirp"
White empty faces staring at me out of cold window glass
That's when I realised there was no one else around.
All people got stuck in their houses
Shops were closed, streets were deserted
It felt like a Ghost Town I'd say.
Up in the blue blue sky there swims a yellow frog
Round after round she is quiet and relaxed
But on the green green hill I see a penguine
Who does with passion and eager some piorettes.
While walking on I talked to my cat
She told me not to worry, the world is changing now, she said
But it would be alright, so she said.
We arrived at the Gelateria, the lady was happy to see us.
I had a coffee and the cat had some cream on a spoon
She loved it.
