    This is a doctor who is not only a professional but has a great sense of ethics he values esthetics and overall positive enhancement before thinking how much he is making from any patient! I would even consider to fly all the way from Toronto to his practice to have it done!

    I’d like to see photos 2 years post op of bucks fat removal. I know women who have procedures that look good the first 6 months, but after a year or two, when the swelling has completed subsided, they don’t look as good.

      My wife and I both had the procedure several years ago, and both of us are very happy with the results, even years later. I can’t post a picture to a UA-cam comment, so obviously this isn’t the best testimonial. What I can say, is that both of us (pre-op) had noticeable bulges where the buccal fat pad sits, and both of us have decently strong cheekbones. Those bulges have simply been reduced, so that our perceived body fat percentage when looking at our faces match that of the rest of our body. If you’re considering, I’d make sure you consult with a reputable, ethical doctor, who can give you an honest opinion as to whether you’re a good candidate

      it all the depends on the bones strucure, usually man are more prone to have better results, because man have more bone density due to testosterone. With more bone density i mean in this case, higher cheeckbones, bigger jaws, all theses things make the skin more tight and looking good. That's also why there is this thing of "man agin like fine wine", because they lose fat but the bone still there to hold the skin in place, while most females rely on fat pad when young to keep the skin tight.
      Of course im generalizing, and there are women with denser cheeckbones and jaws, and guys with weak cheeckbones and jaws.
      Anyway, as far as i know, the bone strcuture is VERY important for long lasting good results.

    your videos are so interesting ! we don't have such surgeons here in france, so for someone who is about to get orthognatic surgery, would it be better to get buccal fat removal done before the orthognatic procédure? do you offer online consultation? thanks

    Can you explain the different between the gaunt look when you age versus the chisseled look? The best looking men in the word have the chiselled and structured face with low facial fat. All these men (think young johnny depp, leo dicaprio) had structured faces that were far from chubby, while at the same time looking very youthful and not gaunt at all. Clearly looking gaunt and aged and the strutured/chiselled look are not the same thing. I have always had an puffy and cbubby face relative to my body weight, and its frustrating when people tell me getting the procedure will just make me look aged. If removing the fat pads makes you age badly, does that mean those people with naturally lean and structured faces will age worse than those who have chubbier faces?

      Gaunt reflects subcutaneous fat loss (the fondant) and chiseled reflects facial skeletal structure and other deeper factors like buccal fat (the cake and filling)

      I think men don’t have to worry about looking gaunt when their face looses fat unless they are so skinny and lack muscle. Women, on the other hand, are seen as looking older when they get too chiseled with age.

      Depending on facial skeletal structure, enhancement of weak or flat cheekbones will improve the result of buccal fat removal

    Can a person who has not gone for any face or jaw surgery before but as a athletes like MMA fighter and boxers can be a good candidate for buccal fat surgery with V shape jawline ???
    And what could be the difference between if patients buccal fat fully removed, half removed, one third of them removed and quarter buccal fat removed from face???🤔🤔🤔😐

    • @jonathanzelkenmd
      @jonathanzelkenmd  8 місяців тому

      Yes, I don’t see why they would not be good candidates- though such a person would need to be examined first. I don’t know how much such fractional resection would influence the result beyond the obvious: the more you take out the bigger the change.
