Sam came to the same planet fitness as me yesterday. I saw him walking up and literally every step he took towards me I felt in the ground, sounded like it was a stampede of buffaloes but it was literally just one man. Upon holding the door open for him the width of his shoulders couldn’t fit through the door and he effortlessly shattered the glass and knock the swinging doors off the bolts. As I too was flung to the ground in a sea of glass he reached down to help me up but his grip broke every metacarpal in my hand as I screamed in agony he lifts me up into his arms and holds me like the baby I am. After about 2 minutes he sets me down and I felt a pump that I have and never will feel again I immediately went and hit a 4 plate incline and gained 20lbs of muscle over night thanks Sam!🎉❤
I been on 2000 cal a day diet now for about a month and lifting hard trying to recomp my body. im down 6 lbs. Been lifting since april. Sam is such a true inspiration its unreal. This kid is something special.

if sam gets stage lean in the 220's i can see him dipping down to a 5' 11" stage weight and standing on stage shredded. Assuming he doesn't lose tons of muscle and if he can pose for anything I can see him being competitive in the classic league. Never thought I'd ever say that but yeah, I think he's reached the point where he can show up at a pro show and do very well. Size wise he compares well to Urs, and he's not *that* size yet but you don't need to be a top 3 olympian to be in the pro league yk.
Yea I was truly surprised to see how well Sam compared to URS in that impromptu pose down. Hope Sam really leans out this time as a competition test. His upper back has plenty of mass but could use more definition. Also bicep peaks could be increased a little. (drag curls might help this).

I saw Sam at a grocery store in Toronto yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen protein bars in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
i saw sam at the gym today! he overheard me talking to my buddy saying, "im not doing my cardio today". sam came up to me and held me at gunpoint telling me to hit my cardio. one of my favorite moments ever!
I’m maintaining 240lb rn. Up from 160lb last winter. I’m going to the gym around 2.5 hours four times a week since two months ago. I plan to eat around 11k calories or spend around $275 a week on food. I work from 50-70 a week minimum and then some for the past year thanks to my God YAHAWAH! Peace
It's a pain to lose weight working in a kitchen as a chef. Lost 14 kg since the beginning of the year but that is just the beginning. I have big plans. I look like a slug with arms and legs atm😂 Sam is a good motivation to open up about this on you tube

Hi Sam I am a long time watcher of your content. Quick question about arm workouts. How/when did you know what your "safe" max weight for biceps? I'm just trying to avoid one of the dreaded lifting injuries where the muscles rips away during bicep curls. I've seen a good amount of videos to give me a healthy respect for not trying to ego lift or go over a certain weight that may cause such an injury. Love your videos and the motivation that I get from watching your journey. Keep on going with your journey and hopefully we'll all see you on the Olympia stage soon.
Well, I've been pushing my intensity to the limits every day. Today was my arm day, I passed out after a killer set on preachers. It was awesome! Yes, I did a couple more sets and then went to hammer curls and cable curls.
@@1newme425 I kid not. It's a common occurrence, but it's to be expected, I'm recovering from two open heart surgeries so I have a tendency to have that happen. It's why I push harder on machines I sit at vs perhaps not as hard while doing standing machines. I can usually tell when I'm getting close to that point, today I missed it by that much. I've been better about choosing higher weights for a quicker set to avoid it. I aim for 8 reps ish, always to failure. Today It happened when I was past failure as usual doing partial reps.
I see he does Chest(Shoulders), Back,Arms, Legs... I never felt like doing Arms after Back would be as productive because Back does include alot of indirect Bicep work. My split I follow is Back, Chest and Shoulders, Arms, Legs. Anyone else do Arms after Back like Sam?
