Are the other helmets you are comparing the advant X to able to fold completely back and out of the way like the advant can do ? This is what makes this helmet different from the others . The others you are comparing them with can only raise straight up and are not recommended to travel with the chin section up . The advant is a true full face and 3/4 helmet while riding . Once the chin piece is folded back out of the way the face shield cane be raised or lowered so you can ride with the face shield down . You can't do that with the others helmets you are comparing so of course there is going to be different results .
Hi from London UK I was waiting for this review since last year, thanks, it's a disappointment the helmet has a noise level of 103db on the road, in addition to only achieving 4 stars in materials inside the helmet below the Schuberth C5 and the Shoei Neotec2 I think for the price What it costs is a disappointment, I only find it suitable for day-to-day in the city, to go on the highway or long-distance trips I prefer a closed helmet, and I not sure if this helmet don't make any liking under constantly Rain ..before in old LS2 model I know some helmet liking completely closed so maybe .. but anyway thanks for u review mate ! Appreciate lovely Jobly!
A bit late to respond, but it can be helpful for other people: Noice was always my first concern, but now that I wear Noice Canceling earbuds it is of little importance to me anymore. On my BMW GSA I ride 90% of the time with the chin piece open (also at higher speed and in winter). On my KTM SMT 30%. That is partly because the later has less wind protection but also because I ride this bike much harder. Before I used NC buds it was not possible to do that, not event with Alpine earplugs. However, be careful what NC buds you use, because some don’t block wind noice very well and some block noice too much which can be dangerous. I have the best results with the HUAWEI FreeLace Pro. Music quality is good as well. Phone calls I can do on the GSA bellow 80km/h, but not on the SMT. Concerning the inside material: I have tried this helmet in a shop and for me it is more comfortable than my HJC RPHA 90 and Schubert C3.
One Major difference that no one mentions is you can flip the helmet chin bar back but ride with the visor down, Looks a bit odd but is so nice to feel unrestricted but not have bugs or stones fly into your eyes.
@@emraef Makes a difference even at lower speeds imo. When I ride in town and traffic, the 180 degree flip doesn't make it top-heavy, feels lighter for quick head movements.
I was very disappointed by my LS2. When I run into the rain, the rain immediately starts pouring down the inside of the visor and my nose is immediately wet, so I won't be spending my money on LS2 helmets again. 🙁 Greetings from Croatia
this is the only post that i have seen that mentions the water leaking into helmet around visor--exactly what ive been asking everyone but nobody could say - i need to know
@@daviddehart9003 I have had the LS2 Valiant 2 for 2 years and I ride rain or shine. Never had rain leak in unless I crack open the visor. Even then, it's just the rain splattering in from the wind. I was worried about that too when I was shopping modular helmets but it turned out to be a nonissue. I imagine this new iteration to be just as good but you never know. Also, @zokky7 just says "LS2" but not which model.

This is a SERIOUS review, very well done.
I *REALLY* wish this and other helmets would be shown in all configurations (if they have more than one) actually ON the rider.

Wow great review
Excellent. Which helmet do you recommend? This one or the Scorpion EXO-TECH?

Is there a huge difference between 3 and 2 outer shell sizes and what do you recommend to buy?
Wish they would make these with an extra shell size, looks so bulky on my medium sized head.
So 103 decibel isn’t that loud for a modular helmet? It does seem quite noisy to me.
Yep!
AWESOME VIDEO AMAZING ! ! ! ! !

also, schuberth s3 would be very nice onces it comes out
Thank you. We have that one in the pipeline for a review.
When is the test? LS2 FF906 Advant Codex ???
could you please test, Premier devil carbon (22.06) i think its a very underrated helmet
Does this helmet has speaker pockets so I can use my cardo?
Is there a specific comm system for this helmet?
What are the outer shell sizes of this helmet?
XS-L / XL-3X
How do you have these in stock on your website? They are not set to release until fall of 2023? Are these boot legged?
Great helmet. I bought one, but now have to return it. There is NO WAY whatsoever to install my Sena 20S Evo to this helmet. :(
I want a helmet with a 180 degrees flip up mechanism, which other helmets can I compare this one to?
Scorpion exo tech series, Shark Evo series, roof boxer, LS2 Valiant series (which this seems like a newer version with a different name.)
Hjc i100
nice video but considering that this goes to non-english speakers as well, I would appreciate if the material is easier to digest ;-)
You can translate our subtitles to your own language, then it will become very easy
Is the helmet suitable for glasses?
Yes i bought it
Wish u didn't do the carbon 1 but the regular 1 as the carbon is too expensive
Thank you for your comment. I'll pass it one to our review department. Don't forget to subscribe.

Do you really feel a difference between helmets with a 180 degree flip up mechanism and a normal flip up mechanism?
at the speeds it'd make a difference you probably would want the chinbar down anyway, so i would say: no

once again a review that doesnt mention if water leaks in during rain event while riding
Looked all good until the noise measurement. LS2 lost me there. 103dB a is A LOT.

Very hard to understand. With your accent you need to slow down your speech. Shame it spoiled a potentially good and informative video.
