I love this advant model just bought two helmets of this type. One for my daughter size s an one for me size xxl. Less wind noise then the HJC c91. The reason we bought those models becaus the HJC c91 does get hurt after one hour ride the size is ok but our scull form on the top is a different wider then other people i guess. So we try a lot of brands and models and the choice was the LS2 Vaillant but the seller told us they sold out and iT was the old eu norm ece 2205 it not alowed to ride it complete open ( with the chin bar up). IT was better to get the advant iT has a higher safety level ece 2206 its alowed to ride it open. The helmet fit well and has a high confort. We are happy whit this model. Prys indication € 285,- in the Netherlands August 2023
You can definitely feel the difference. The Advant X Carbon is more solid in its open position than some of the Shoei full helmets. It could be the carbon, but I think it's probably the new cert.
Did the integrated comm sistem come out yet? I've been searching for it but haven't managed to find one that fits into that rear slot in the helmet. Thanks!
I was debating between this, the Advant X, and a RPHA 91. Settled on the 91 (ordered from the fine folks at Speed Addicts of course) since it was a known quantity and is known to be pretty quite. I guess if it doesn't fit when it arrives, the Advant may make a good alternative. Thanks for the review!
Good review thanks. What is the noise level like with this? My current LS2 requires me to wear ear plugs always! I think the Schuberth is the benchmark so how does this stack up for noise?
This is a helmet donut meant for supporting your new LS2 helmet on a table top. These are handy when removing pads / liners for washing or other helmet maintenance.
I do have to say that manufacturers should look into adding a way to pump air into either the neck roll or around the ears to block out wind noise. Maybe a really tiny bulb similar to the pump on a blood pressure tester. IDK, just a thought I had.
I hope they redesigned the mechanism for moving the sun visor on this one. the Valiant 2, has this issue. Its the first one to fail because its only pushing one side, the other side relies on the sliding track. A small torsion makes it fail.
@@SpeedAddictsTVThank you. Unfortunately, I thought I saw a great Christmas Sale deal on Amazon and bought it. After the temps warmed up, I took out the bike and learned just how noisy is the LS2. This IS my first modular helmet, apart from full face helmets, but still, it is LOUD. I wish I had applied my ~$325 toward the Schuberth. Live and learn. Blessings 😊
@@nostraware the FortNine test is exactly that which I was thinking of in my comment and nowhere in that test is the risk of decapitation mentioned. In fact, it's the danger of an inferior fastener prematurely breaking and allowing the helmet to be separated from the head that presents the biggest risk in a crash.
And what difference between the advant and the advant X?
Check out our video on the Advant X here - ua-cam.com/video/FhwGyjWz3HQ/v-deo.html
The LS2 modular series is the only helmets I can fit on with my hearing aids. Thank you guys for an awesome helmet.

Is the advant good for round shaped heads?
Juggernaut helmet, hoping for glossy titanium with scratch like design like the ls2 storm❤
Thanks for watching!
Hi, Scorpion Eco Tech or LS2 Advant?
I would recommend the Advant or even Advant X.

I’m interested in seeing the Bluetooth device, being in the back. I ride a lot and wonder how easy it’ll be to charge while riding
Cardo has released videos of the unit being installed in the helmet.
Which one do you recommend? LS2 Advant or Hjc i100
Advant.
Appreciate the thorough reviews!
How well does this helmet work with glasses? I'm getting tired of taking mine on and off before my exo500.
With the chinbar back I've had 0 issues taking it off with my glasses on.
@@danielkitchen9734 nice, any issues in general you've noticed? How long have you had it?
@@oOo0oOo0oOo I've had mine for about 2 weeks and 0 issues so far. I'll probably end up getting the Carbon Fiber Version in a few weeks.
@@danielkitchen9734 thanks for the info! ✌️ Safe riding!

Is it okay for round heads?
This helmet is an intermediate oval shape. It depends on how round your head is.
Did the integrated comm sistem come out yet? I've been searching for it but haven't managed to find one that fits into that rear slot in the helmet. Thanks!
Yes! It's the LS2 Cardo 4X.

I appreciate the riding in a circle joke😂

Have not heard much from customers on the wind noise. It's very subjective.
the closed strap catches on the jacket collar and opens by itself, has anyone had similar problems???
Have not heard of this issue before.
I just got the LS2 Advant helmet. I came with an inflatable neck collar. Is this collar to be used while I'm riding?

😂😂😂😂
It's for your hemorrhoids

Can you fit that hair in any of these helmets?😂
Yes I can! Thanks for watching!
Does anyone know is this helmet is not so loud as valiant 2?
I’ve never used a valiant 2, however I just got a advant x carbon and it is very noisy.
Wind noise can be quite subjective. We recommend a snug fit with the chin curtain installed.

We personally liked the drop down visor mechanism on this helmet.
That's a great video, I'll get one of those. Thanks
If money’s not a factor, is the LS2 Advant a worthy competitor to the Schubert C5? Thank you. Blessings
If money is not an issue, I would recommend the C5 helmet.

Are there any statistics on safety outcomes in crashes between the micrometer ratchet straps versus a traditional d-ring?
D-Ring is overkill. Watch Fortnine test. You’d be decapitated if you destroy the ratchet just because of the impact.

I did not know about that Fortnine test video. I'll need to check it out.
Is the advent cut small im size? Thanks
We found the helmet to run true to size.
can i wear my glasses while wearing the helmet?
yes
Yes, you can.
