Good review showcasing plenty of the helmet! There are other brands with these flip-over design including Shark and Nolan, but I think LS2 is a league of their own for this design.
I have a modular Shark with a 180 degree chinbar. Bought the Shark modular back in 2018. Shark is prediminantly a European company and with that I've experienced limited availability and support in the US. The LS2 seems to be a bit more receptive to customer support and availability. Thanks for the review, looking forward to rocking my Advant X
@aidanwilson2330 Thank you for your question, unfortunately I have no experience with the Sena 50s however I have done some research online, the general consensus with customers is that it does fit but you will have to mount it behind the sun visor slider which then makes the controls difficult to reach and operate, I hope that helps 👍
What is the differents between the Advant X solid and Advant X carbon in real live? I don’t suppose the 50gram does make a lot of difference in comfort.
The weight is obviously the difference between Advant X Solid (1700gm) and Advant X Carbon (1550gm). Colour are different between both models and yet the function are the same.
@milabaigar thank you for your question, I don't have any official data I can give you at this moment in time. I will say the helmet is as quiet as my HJC helmet and a lot more comfortable, I will check with LS2 this week and get back to you 👍
Seen reviews of people complaining that water leaks water when you're in heavy rain, have you had any experience with this? Could have just been a fault with a batch of them or something because i've only seen a few people mention this.
@The_LaurenGilmore Hi Lauren thank you for your comments. Personally I haven't been caught in heavy rain however rain showers I have had no issues whatsoever, I will add that we have sold many of these helmets without issue. If all goes to plan I will be travelling to Wales next month, so I suspect it will get a good soaking on that trip
I’ve had this helmet all summer. I truly enjoy it. I love the peripheral vision and I love the flip up going to the back of the head. But I can vouch that in heavy rain the rain does come through the shield on the top. It’s it’s not a lot, but it’s noticeable.
I personally don't wear glasses myself when riding, but the helmet padding is very soft and compliant, so it shouldn't be a problem. It would be best to try one before you buy
@mikhailkhokhryakov3442 Honestly, I am confident you won't have any issues with the helmet, I double checked the literature that came with my helmet and it does have the glasses easy fit, I hope that helps 👍

@mountaingoat168 Thank you for commenting, and I hope you enjoy your new helmet 😃
I know of at least 4 other helmets that have the 180 chin bar. Tho the LS2 seems to be the popular choice.
Will a comms system like a Sena 50S fit on the side or is the sunglasses lever too far forward?

@jatichsicharta The only difference is the material used to construct it otherwise it's an identical helmet

Any measurements on decibel level t 70 mph ?

There are 5 other brands that do flip overs. Shark, scorpion, hjc, roof, Nolan.
Доброго времени. Хотелось бы знать, будет ли удобно в нем человеку в очках?
