It actually depends from person to person. Some people don't sweat a lot, don't do much sports and don't eat much so they barely smell and barely have oils produced on their skin. So, medically, even if they don't shower for 2 weeks, they're gonna be totally fine. But for some, they produce lots of oils, they workout a lot and consume a lot of nutrients so they need to shower every day and some even twice or thrice a day. It all depends on every person though

Unfortunately, too many Muslims are hairy. Please hairy people, shower as often as you can. It is good that you do not drink too as the mouth of drinkers tend to smell.
In cold climates, because you are not sweating as much everything comes out in the summer and then some people can have strong smell. Warm climates where people sweat all year long are better as they detox regularly.

Well dermatologists says to not shower daily once every two days is ideal... Means day one u shower day 2 u don't day 3 u do... Now sheikh is saying otherwise and he ain't no source of knowledge so unless Allah and his prophet said to shower daily which I will immidietly accept without any hesitation or argueing... I don't see reason to follow his instructions blindly
