Yeah the White/Tan combo always killed me when I was really looking for a TL a few years ago. I did see a few that had black interior but not many. Same with the Lexus IS cars.
Car looks amazing. I just bought a 2003 rxs type s and have been watching your videos. Learning so much wish I could do the work you do. thank-you for making these videos. I’m having issues with my 5 th gear popping out. Ugh 😩 have you had any issues with your gears popping out?
Congrats on your purchase Ethan! That in itself is already a big accomplishment, you should be proud of yourself! I'm glad I can help and thanks for watching my videos, it means a lot. I don't have any issues with 5th gear pop out, but I would start with changing the transmission fluid with Amsoil Syncromesh fluid and maybe see if that helps. I noticed the RSX shifts better after I changed out to Amsoil. Keep us posted and good luck!

It would be nice if you listed the mods you did to correct these flaws. What suspension? List the name of the LSD, etc.... nice video and nice Rsx.

Great summary. Would you recommend a LSD for a daily that already had the clutch and rear main seal replaced recently?
Thanks Van (from Van) lol. I think if you can wait on it, you could save more money. You would have to redo everything again and drop the transmission to install it and that's a lot of work. It's not 100% needed to have LSD, but it does make your driving experience a little more fun. Either way, you are still good!
@@Echizen32kMedia thanks Van. I’m still kicking myself when I didn’t add the LSD and Civic Si gears to my TSX when the clutch was replaced. Oh well, lessons learned.
@@vando1267 I did it with MFactory on my RSX. Don't notice a difference. The tuner shop actually was discouraging me, which was obviously not in their best interest, as they said I wouldn't notice any difference without heavy track use and taking it to its limits.

Yeah great car for entry level and not too hard to work on! That or a BRZ/GT86 !

@@williamchan6443 I think they look great and I personally bought a new one myself back in 2018. However, they have notorious AC problems and I sold it after only owning it for 2 years for a Prius-C. All good, hope taht helps answers your questions. It drove good and had really smooth power delivery due to the CVT transmissions. Although, I was worried the 1.5T was TURBO, I have seen lots of people get 300K from these engines without issues. Only thing was the AC ....actually, if you google it, HONDA was sued because of it.
Personally I wouldn't recommend starting to learn manual in an rsx because most of the time they're very expensive to buy and it would suck to fuck something up in a nice car like that. I'd recommend starting off with a cheap ass beater car to learn to drive stick and then get an rsx once your confident in your ability to drive a stick.

Nice DC5 but I think you should do it justice by getting a legit front and rear JDM lip. The replica always looked off to me.
