That trail looked pretty gnarly, looks like you guys had a good time. Looked a little slick at higher elevations but the dirt in the lower elevations looked 🤌🥹
The trailhead sits at 7,300 feet and we topped out at 9,400 feet. Yeah the lower stuff was perfect - up high was tricky but fun. I have to dig into my 300 xc and figure out why it wasn't idling.
I love this trail. It's a good mix of terrain. I was running 9psi in the rear with a heavy duty tube. It was slick in some spots, but I agree I was a bit shocked at some of the rocks we crawled right up.
@@LBRides I've ridden out west a lot (I live in WV) and its astonishing how much grip is out there. The scenery out there is fantastic. Here, that sort of thing would be nearly impossible - we have to have momentum to get up anything steep when it's wet or there's no hope. Thanks for posting that video it's a good one!
Another good one in the books, we'll venture out more next time when all the stars align. So much more i'd like to show you guys, don't worry i'll make sure its feasible😁
Looks like so much fun! I'm glad to see you connect with Mike. I miss you all.
When you make it back to CA let's make a day of riding out of it. Congrats on your retirement!
Nice trails!
Great video! It's crazy just how fast the weather can turn on you! The chef had a lovely meal waiting for you, too, now that's hard to beat!
Thank you sir. Those tacos were hard to beat and yes that weather was a reminder to pack my layers...
Yes, it's called elevation. The higher you get, the colder. When cold, rain turns to snow. It's a tale old as time
@@travisk5589 Bless your heart.
I miss summer already.
Dang. Looks intense and fun.
Your 500 would tractor right up it. It was tough but fun!

That is a really pretty trail! I was surprised at how much grip you had the rocks looked like they would be waaaaay slicker than that!

Hell yeah looking forward to it!
So Gnar.
Squids. Stop posting vids of you guys destroying trails. Or at least don't name the trail on the internet.
How are they destroying the trails?
Well. The trail is now closed to dirt bikes. So...
