Synopsis:

Fun fact: Envy (Brie Larson) was inspired by the lead singer of Metric, so she sings one of their songs, and Sex Bob-omb recorded in Metric's home studio for that authentic garage sound.

Damn, I usually tune in to reactions just to see how people react to Matthew Patel coming through the roof and it immediately turns into a video game fight movie. I couldn't stop watching though because your reactions were great :) also some people get hung up on Scott dating a 17 year old, even though ALL of his friends tell him he's wrong and they don't really do anything because Scott's not invested.
But yeah Scott's a jerk - and Ramona was too - and they're both learning to be less of a jerk, probably like a lot of peoples' early relationships.

I originally saw this in the theater for the premiere showing with my friends from Gaming and Anime Club (both had a lot of the same members so we all just blended the clubs together). But as soon as it came out on DVD I bought 2 copies of it. 1 with the regular cover and 1 with a special "comic book" cover. I watched it every single day at least once for months, but sometimes I watched it 2 or 3 times a day. When I say I can quote it I mean it XD In my defense I was showing it to all of my friends and watching it with them because 1 I freaking love the film and 2 I didn't want to let them borrow it official and have my DVD get ruined.
Of course, it's originally based on a graphic novel, the art style is exactly as they showed in the flashbacks of Ramona's relationships and Scott's hair meltdown. Then the movie and now I believe they are turning it into an anime and the actors from the movie are going to voice the characters. I'm so excited and it also has a video game as well.

At 35:03. The scene reminded me of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, where Megatron does the same to Optimus by stabbing his blade through his chest.
