Yeah Age of Excuse III too. It's quite deep and sophisticated commentary on gnosticism if you're familiar with history of revolutions/slave revolts (and it's a big middle finger to a certain type of people). Also the first four lines of AOE I reveals a good philosophical grasp of nihilism and transcendental argument: "A species had been armed with a double edged blade / A guardless weapon of delusion / Forged of a mirage of inherent transcendence / In the tangled mechanisms of life itself". It's refreshing to have intelligent and meaningful lyrics.

@@bloodykrystina ah I see. I think sometimes Mgła's lyrics are awkwardly worded due to English not being their first language. I think it is somehow referring to the zeitgeist (common spirit of the time) having a stench, as in being dirty and degenerating I guess?
@Pierre Dessein It has nothing to do with the fact that their native tongue isn't english. In fact, their vocabulary is an example of top notch knowledge of english language.
lol nah I just couldn't imagine those guys coming on stage and being like "heey everybody this is mgla and we're gonna play some songs for you".. not necessary
There are indeed moments when he drags, you can notice it in the blasts, but mostly towards the end of the show when fatigue sets in. They also seem to play some songs at a faster tempo than studio. Lastly, you need to take into account the conditions in which they play, fully covered, masked etc. I was at this show and while it might not look like it there was one hell of a heat. Surely, playing these songs must be muscle memory for him at this point but all those extra factors add up and can affect his performance.

Age Of Excuse II
The stench of zeitgeist
Is the incense of discarded shrines
As the corpses put on powder and rouge
So that the hoax can proceed, ever sidewards
A cheaped out incarnation into a shopworn sarx
The soul congeals into a grimy lump
Substance of the world, dreary and pale
At the feet of a spirit detached
Between the grinder and the abattoir
Such are the landscapes of grief
Grayness and glitz
Glitter and Gehinnom
Between tedium and fright
Such is the song of the nether world
The hissing of rats
And the jarring chants of angels
A sacrifice to the gutter gods
Squandered redemption, misplaced grace
As an ailing mole burrowing in Eden
Living breathing downfall
Between the grinder and the abattoir
Such are the landscapes of grief
Grayness and glitz
Glitter and Gehinnom
Between tedium and fright
Such is the song of the nether world
The hissing of rats
And the jarring chants of angels
It's a land of Sun gone down
In a comical grandeur
A sluggish danse macabre
Hyenas waltzing about
Would a new flood please finally come
A real rain and an assortment of plagues
And when all is said and done
Even the Devil won't care enough to spit in the mud
Era de Desculpas II
O fedor do zeitgeist
É o incenso de santuários descartados
Como pó e maquiagem são colocados em cadáveres
De modo que a fraude possa prosseguir, sempre ao lado
Uma encarnação barata em uma carne desvalorizada
A alma congela-se em um nódulo encardido
Substância do mundo, sombria e pálida
Aos pés de um espírito descolado
Entre o moedor e o matadouro
Tais são as paisagens do luto
Cinza e brilho
Resplendor e Geena
Entre tédio e medo
Tal é a música do mundo inferior
O assobio de ratos
E os cantos dissonantes dos anjos
Um sacrifício aos deuses da sarjeta
Redenção desperdiçada, graça deslocada
Como uma toupeira enferma cavando no Éden
Vivendo, respirando, caindo
Entre o moedor e o matadouro
Tais são as paisagens do luto
Cinza e brilho
Resplendor e Geena
Entre tédio e medo
Tal é a música do mundo inferior
