    In my town of Roseburg Oregon there no bbq places are food trucks are restaurants bbq wood do well here if someone could do it I'm in a electric wheelchair

    I have a question. You said you use the restaurant’s equipment. Does this mean the restaurant you sell your bbq in has a smoker?

    where is the BBQ cooked? if the restaurant does not have a smoker...??? who's prepping, cooking, slicing/mixing, etc?

      I took my own smoker to the restaurant. I prepped the meat, smoked it, took the meat off right around 10am and I prepped it all at the restaurant. You can't do it at your house. Sliced the brisket and put the brisket in a roasting pan with au jus in the bottom. Same with the pulled pork. Showed the cooks how to prepare a plate and they took it from there. When business picket up I added another brisket, but held it in a cambro until it needed to be sliced later in the day.

    4 BBQ restaurants and the net/net is 16-18 percent..You make money in the bbq world by doing a 600-1 millon in sales and owning more than one..Period.

      It worked for me. With no overhead and 15% of sales I cleared $150-$300 a week part time profit.
