  • Step-by-step guide on how to replace / remove / change rear tail lights on GMC Terrain SUV. Replacing the taillight or the tail light bulb is really simple. All you will need is a phillips screwdriver or a ratchet with a 10mm socket. ( 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | SLE | SLT | DENALI ).
Lift the tailgate and remove two plastic covers on the tail light. Under the covers you will have two phillips screws to remove. Once removed you can gently pull the tail light straight out. Do not pull it to the side as there are two small pins on the back side of the tail light. Unscrew the bulb socket counter clockwise and remove the light bulb. That's it.
