This classical poetry is written by Mary Elizabeth Frye in 1932. She wrote this inspirational poem and scribbled it on a paper bag to comfort a family friend who had lost her mother.

I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.

Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
