Even NHL has a better retirement ceremony than this. MLB The Show's gameplay loop is addicting, but they have got to do more work on the little things like this, especially being able to do something with your career earnings instead of just being a random number.

i had my player as a 2 way knuckleballer sp and 2nd baseman and he carries pretty much every team he plays for to at least one world series. he got traded 3 times in one season in 2027 and now hes 38 and retiring soon with the first team he ever played in the major league for, the rays. i lifted the rays to 2 world series in a row and have like 6 rings total.
ve beat it , i went with speed over hitting pretty much singles an steal 2nd an 3rd all day. I beat it the first time ending with 133 stolen bases to only beat that 2 years later with 157. Havent got that close again but average 100 a year
@@zacharooturnerAfter all, you can't retire until you reach the age of 45. I tried the same method as you yesterday. I also did the same thing: I skipped signing with any team until the year I retired. Even so, it's a sad moment.

How many years can you play do they force you to retire like madden ?
When my player reach the age of 45 the game forced him to retire. Like 28 years started 2022 to 2050
