I would like to point out that with my kris once it becomes dirty the bolt hold open with the kris mags dose not always engage. However using the s&w mags the rifle does not seem to have that issue. I find the kris to be way more accurate than the 15-22 can quite easily get 5 round groups at 25m smaller than a 5p piece and that's using a very cheap sight as well.
Hey I'm tom ,I've been shopping around for kriss defiance dmk 22lr for months now, it seems like no gun shops in any where in northwest have it .if u can help me where I can get one please please let me know.
I can attest the HERA stuff is very good, I use the same brake on my .223 competition AR. But never felt the need to add it to my mini-rifle as there is no identifiable muzzle flip with a .22lr (at least with standard loads). Maybe bigger calibre training translates in better recoil control? I had an 15-22 but sold it due to being too light and because the impact point could be changed with different pressure on the front grip. And don't ever try to use the forward assist on a .223 as you told you did. It usually makes things worse...

What ammo are you using, we find Geco semi works well as its an oiled round so whilst its dirty it acts as a lubricant.

Its true a .22 has little recoil but we have certainly found that a decent timed brake helps second shot placement by removing some of that flip.
Did you say you were trying a 12 inch and 6 inch barrel on the Vector..?? How are you going to get around the legislation about a min 300mm barrel..??
