Some might think its expensive but get a $4K camaro, $1K cam swap and then smoke 5.0s seems like a win to me

LS is king of bang for your buck
I'm going for a cam swap and a full exhaust for my 02 LS1 Camaro SS. Just that for the extra kick to beat 5.0s. Anything more and you start losing reliability plus breaking parts specially with boost and big nitrous.
Just want a daily racecar NA all the way.
Morbid Jesus Reliability and stock rear ends when adding power to these cars do not go hand in hand, even if it is just a cam swap.

Shadow21 My old cammed Z28 blew two rear ends and neither were from a dig. The rears can be unpredictable, after all, they are around 20 years old at this point depending on model year
I just swapped a full manual valve body automatic with trans brake in my 2004 mustang cobra and took out the 6 speed manual. Best modifications I did!

You can keep an eye out on craigs list also, sometimes people buy the parts for a swap but wind up selling the car or w/e, and so you can get brand new parts for cheap
I bought a Brand New set of 1.8 ratio yella terra rockers few years ago for $150. They are $450-500 new. Now ls stock rocker are fine, but I thought what the hell get more lift and high quality roller rockers for $150. SOLD lol
just bought a 650 holley elite for $300 b/n($700 list) a b/n unused lifetime warranty mechanics tool set for $150($600 list),set of brand new headers $100($300+ list)in the last year ive got about $3500 worth of parts for about $600
The Elgin line of camshafts are a great value. I did their 228/230 and ordered springs and pushrods separate for under $550.
How’s it holding up? I’m gonna buy there kit with their lifters as well as pushrods, gaskets and bolts and maybe even the oil pump

I just bought a 1995 Formula T.A. I think the F body is dynamic. Man I love the color you chose for your dash, the effects are awesome. Where did you get it.
98 formula. Probably doing the exact list you provided. With added PCM, injectors, and pump, to have the extra hp and laptop tune-ability

So you just put the cam and parts, but no tune?? I thought you had to put a tune in it to match the cam or it wouldn't run right..?

Stage 4 cam is too big for the flow of the stick heads

I have a bone stock..02..z06. absolutely nothing done to it. I'd like to upgrade cam exhaust headers etc. just for street use..BUT want it to sound really good. I don't want to spend more than 4/5k😁. can I do...cam..exhaust..hdrs and clutch for that?? car is perfect..only 54kmiles

HyperXprojects don’t have them sadly, if I did they would definitely have slicks on em for races
One of my projects for next year on my channel is to convert my TA to a WS6 look - (hood and wheels) I have been looking for wheels and they are hard to find for a reasonable price. The hood is easier to find but cost a boat load of $$$. I will chart progress on my channel when I start it. I did drop a hint video :)

I think with shipping I wouldn't get them to PA for that cheep! LOL - I think that this might be my winter project to see if I can track some down.
HyperXprojects I have stock WS6 wheels there not perfect but, I'm willing to part ways with them. I live in pa, near Reading pa area. They do have some scratches and some road grim, as far as I know there not bent still on my car since I own it now. Could use new plastic center caps(have that aluminum wrapped around them)think there loose and one is dented.

hey thanks for the vid ive got ur twin sorta.. 2002 ws6 blue convert auto with the performance package (3:23 gear ratio) tho mine is pretty, blue with camel top and camel/black interior I wanted a black and blue like urs. ive had some really rare f bodies like my 1978 triple blue ws6 factory hurst edition 4 speed with short t tops and all power options..but I really really wanted a firehawk in our blue with black convertible top and manual trans with all go fast factory options available in the last yr made but there are not many and im too poor to get one. Now where do u live so we can do my cam swap at ur house and im gonna need to borrow $1600 for parts and extra's

LSA Blower all together will be around $3k installed, if you’re good at DIY you can H/C/I your car for almost half that and make around 440WHP.
This if you want N/A my 2001 ss 6speed with slp lntake, fast I take mani, headers w/ high flow cats and a stg 2 cam. Also had a lighter flywheel, clutch and lower heating. It made almost 400 to the wheels on a conservative tune

Bring it to a reputable engine builder/tuner in your area. You won't have to worry. I have a cammed SS on my channel if you wanna check it out

Madrid Devin Speed Engineering 1-7/8 Longtube Headers. And Flowmaster muffler, I recommend a magnaflow or Slp loudmouth muffler.

I bought a torquer v2 . Springs lifters pushrods . Then picked up a set of 243s for fresh out the shop then sent them to get port and polished 600 bucks . Shiit ... I'm doing the work too . Check out my video . .. I'll post one after I install everything I'm on 853s right now
Which transmission do you think is better in stock form the t56 or the 4l60e
Kyle Smith T56 all day long, just get a better clutch and master cylinder. Monster clutch is prime
Ive tried both and t56 cars are not really faster stock its been proven to be about the same but t56 cars are more sought after so more expensive but easier to sell also its less of a pain if you wanna customize the gear ratio either in the trans or the rear end also not having a computer controlling things gives a more in depth driving experience and when it wont start you can push start it because its a manual.
Auto cars are convenient if you use the car alot much less demanding of attention and no clutch swaps to worry about
No worries about launches
The rear end might be in better shape because it hasnt been clutch dumped by the idiots who owned it last
T56 is bulletproof and can hold 500 hp reliably.
Turbros Garage Good point. You want a Tick Performance Master Cylinder for redline shifting.
t56 definitely,the 4l60e is a 700r4 with electronic control.

What happened to your mpg if you daily it?
It’s like 9 mpg in the city. Used to get around 12-14 before. More air getting into the engine means you need to burn more fuel to that air resulting in worse mpg
