Thank you for your time. Incidentally, miss your painting sessions on tv. I really think the TV programs missed a great opportunity to have artists like yourself back on screen especially during these strange times .
Hello I am so sorry if this sounds weirds but you wrote such a nice and wonderful comment on here and I like your comment. I can tell you're a very positive person. Watch you all the time. A friends 14 yr old son has shown an interest in watercolors so I put him on to you. You are such a great teacher. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Agree with the comments especially regarding the TV programs, it was those that inspired me to 'have a go',,,, and, something like 14 years later I'm still having a go, I'll never be a Charles Evans but, I enjoy every brush stroke,, (well, almost all, there's the odd one I wish I hadn't made),,,
Me too, PBS (public television in the US) is the only reason I paint today, and that was 30 yrs ago. Thank you to all the artists who showed the world anyone could paint.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to film this. I was very pleased to get the tip about R.U and Ult. What a difference that little dab of dark made. The painting is looking smashing, partway through. Which is somewhat annoying, 'cause this is when my daubs tend to look their worst! So glad that you are keeping safe. Looking forward to the next time.

Thank you. I sat down and sketched out the boat scene, painted it and then added in the smoke. It worked beautifully. 20 minutes of pure fun!
Pleased you enjoyed it.
Pretty slick way to get natural looking mucky smoke! Thank you, Charles. :)

Just a quick question, why did you change from Cotman to Daler Rowney?
I always wondered how you do the smoke. Thank you.
May i ask you something. Do you paint sometimes from dried paint or always from fresh tube paint?
No, it’s normally dried in my palette.

Can anyone tell me what color blue he said? I am slightly hard of hearing and I can’t make it out.
Ultramarine blue.
If that doesn't encourage you to pick up your brushes and have a go, nothing will
