My heart absolutely breaks for Josh and what he went through, especially with that narcissistic, piece-of-work Shelby in the beginning. The fact that she, not only cheated on him, but also lied to him about the paternity of her child just makes my head boil in anger. Nobody deserves to go through that abuse and hell.
Josh mentioned that Shelby had two more children after the show. The question is, how will her three children feel when they find out that Shelby is a cheater? While she does deserve to face disgrace, her children don't deserve to face the consequences of her actions.
@sd_justice_duty9564 Exactly right! 💯 And it's pretty much up to children when they get older on whether they either have enough unconditional family love to forgive their mom or they'll cut off all contact with her. But other than that, you're absolutely correct. Children should NEVER have to suffer for their parents' poor and stupid choices.

It would be nice for some people to talk to their partner or spouse on wanting to end their relationship instead of cheating. I do believe that when people cheat, things would end badly for them. It would be wrong to defend cheaters.
I never been in a relationship before, but there are some girls who only think of me as a friend. Although they rejected me, I made the choice to move on. Sometimes, I believe that some girls would resent on being in a relationship with me despite that I would treat them well and have been good to them. If a girl did cheat on me, I would be done with her and move on with my life. If she wants me back because things got worse for her and I am happy, I would reject her, but I would tell her to start over with her life and not make things worse.
Just imagine how many men go through what this poor guy went through? And I am not saying that all women are like this lying sleaze Shelby here, but 85%-90% of today's women in the United States of America are like this woman Shelby. They gallivant behind a man's back whether if it's out of petty childish revenge because they've been cheated on or abused or when they're the aggressors and not give a shit about the men that they are with because they don't love them.
I keep telling people that love and relationships is a joke and it's a tool to cheat people. And besides, it's the young generation mainly women that that turned love and relationships into a sick cartoon because they're allowed by society to be biased and prejudice towards average imperfect unattractive men and favor handsome attractive men. It's no wonder why average men feel discouraged and not want to be a part of civilization. I wouldn't blame them.

I feel for Josh because I've been there. To make a long story short I met this girl through a friend. He split up with her over something very stupid and it wasn't her fault. I was there for her as a friend and to tell this douche that he was WRONG for what he did! Slowly but surely we fell for each other, but this little turd kept coming back. I eventually snapped and told him if he didn't stop it'll be the last thing he ever does! Under the law I should've gone to prison for threats (5 years in my state), and she cheated on me anyway!

Don't give up. There's other women out here that won't hurt you. My word of advice is, don't take a female after a fresh breakup of theirs or take a woman from a man. Chances are, many will return to that person and cheat.

I’m not excusing him calling her names & I hope he’s serious about changing what little flaws/faults he owned up to.. I think he genuinely wants love & happiness, but it’s understandable why he still has his guard up. I feel for Josh. I myself feel like I can learn a lot from him because, I was heartbroken by women in the past. At age 20 in my final spring semester of college, I was talking to this woman for 4 months from October 2018 to February 2019. She said me and her are just friends but if we’re just friends. I felt like I was lead on and I was devastated and heartbroken. Most people at age 20 like to hit it and quit it but, I’m not all about that. I’m about building something with someone who I can watch Japanese anime, share my all with, and like Japanese cars as much as I do. At age 22, I met a beautiful single mother On December 5, 2020 who was 5 years older than me, we were talking and in an LDR but on July 14, 2021 I was ghosted bc LDR wasn’t working out for her and a lot going on with raising a child and sobriety. I was devastated as well and went down the wrong path. 😢😢😢
