Judging anyone's behaviour when they lose a child is pretty putrid. Child deaths often result in divorce. Try walking a mile in his shoes before you pass judgement 😢
I think this really has showed his character. My husband and I had a stillbirth and his reaction was nothing but intense grief but with love and support. It showed to me that his character is true and in difficult situations we can rely on each other for strength.

I too lost my first son. It has been 19 yrs and although I have 3 other boys and twin girls now, the pain is still there. You never heal from the loss of a child, but you learn to live through the pain eventually. My heart goes out to them.

Everything gone.
First year wasnt the worst, i was in shock, couldnt even cry. Turned to stone.
Second year was horrible. I HAD to realize it was a reality. So then pain and anger was huge. I wanted back to be a stone...
But then only the pain and sorrow was left. So painful.
But then i realize i had to celebrate his life. All his footsteps. All his impact on the world.
Now,i had a balance,sort of. Still a deep sorrow. But i can also enjoy a laugh without feeling bad . I try to live my life,as my son would have wanted me to do.
But nothing can compare to loosing a child. Ive lost parents,sibling and friends,all of them when very young. So,no one died of a long term illness or anything when you get to prepare,somehow.
All sudden death are a shock, especially when the dead are very young ,close family.
But its still different when you loose a child.
Remember,always, dont ve afraid to talk about the lost one. Its not like a parent forget the loss. They will apprechiate you remembering the loss. The value of a person who was someones world. (I still experience people dont mention my lost one even in a setting where they should be mentioned.
They are not forgotten,ever.
Also, dont measure sorrow from the amount of tears or whaling. I didnt cry much,first year, it was just the shick and denial. (I often see people who comments and judge on the amount of tears and high pitch drama screams. But reality isnt about what you see and hear). Rarely do people have a total melt down,like people THINK one would have if they experience such a loss. Its just that the pain can make you numb. I think its the brains way of keeping the sanity.
Talk about heartless... Let the woman grieve.
I also have to say, as a mother who lost a child, his lack of empathy & compassion even for his son, let alone his wife or girl, is astounding. He said he was happy for the future of his son but thought she was cheating before….. honestly he probably thought the baby wasn’t his…… still mad he didn’t get tested on cheating.

I would have left him. He said he would leave her if she cheated. He would of had to take 1,cause his mind was on that after only having his child 3 months I would have let him go.
This episode makes me cry, I can’t believe months after his sons death, he takes his grief stricken wife on national television and accuses her of cheating…..wow
If I were a father who lost my child, I'd be grieving for my loss. I wouldn't have the time to mess around with other women during my relationship or marriage. Instead, I would want my wife or girlfriend comforting me.
If your wife or girlfriend lost her child, comfort her. Be there for her. She needs it. It's very sad when parents lose their children.
He’s insecure. Maybe it did pick something up elsewhere, but personally I heard nothing on that recording. If they wanna make it work & try again, that’s on them. I hope he does stop accusing her. But to constantly have that kind of stress on top of everything else, at a very difficult & tragic time when they’re supposed to come together…. It’s not fair to her that she couldn’t properly grieve the loss of their son, because she’s constantly having to deal with his insecurities. They need counseling for various reasons if they’re going to stay together. Hopefully now they can properly grieve and mourn.

Oooh my heart when my daughter died it drove me and her dad to divorce and then he committed suicide 2 years later😢😢😢 the loss of a child is an unexplainable pain and nobody should judge anyone on how they grieve when they had to bury their baby.... It's been 10 years and the pain is still the same....My heart breaks they are both in so much pain from this 😭😭😭

This 1 of the things I hate the most about my gender. So many men like to joke about cheating when they do it but then act like a brat when they get cheated on or suspect someone is cheating on them.

I'll be honest and damn what any of you say, even if I had suspicions that my partner was cheating on me, I'd comfort her still as that child was just as much hers as they were mine. We'll deal with the suspicions later, but right now we need to grieve.

I lost 2 son's a month apart, you don't even have anything to give there Father much less another man. You wonder why you even wake up. Worse he cheated while I was pregnant, I pulled back than. I can’t be too hard on him. I know the man is an idiot and with his present behaviours he’s not deserving of her, but he’s just lost his son. The worst part of it is how he is impacting of her right to grieve in her own way. They both need grief counselling and relationship counselling. I'm presuming Steve's team would have discussed that with them.

My husband and I lost our daughter. Yes, it was hell. But never ONCE did either of us blame each other, think about cheating on each other. If anything, it brought us closer. We NEEDED each other just to survive.we BOTH had a physical connection to her, she was a part of us both. You see, we both had different times with her. He worked, so sometimes I was alone with her. He had 4 sisters who had experienced horrible relationships with men, he wanted better for his daughters, so from the time they were young, he would take them on "daddy daughter dates" to show them how men SHOULD treat them with respect. They would go to the movies or out to dinner and he would pull out their chairs for them, ask them what they would like to order and order for them. Just old school, proper gentlemanly behaviors. At the movies, he would buy them popcorn and drinks and let them pick the seats, hold their little jackets for them, and help them put them back on before going outside again. I never knew this before. But I know it now. Because after we lost our daughter, we shared our stories.
