I read other book by Murakami and had the same feeling - his female characters have no other features than their appearance and sexuality. Thank you for the video, you inspired me to stop focusing on decluttering and to do slow consumption instead!
I love your leaves on your sweater! I wish I could do embroidery and mending so nicely as that! I have alot of holes and ripes in my clothes that I mend (and hope no one sees my awful mending techniques)
I'm just curious how/ when you get your reading done? I live in the middle of the United States so I'm sure our lives are very different but I'm lucky if I get 1-2 books done a month. I want to read more but between taking care of the kids and cooking/ cleaning/ working, I just don't find much time. How do you juggle all of your responsibilities and hobbies? LOVE these in/ out videos every month!!! I always watch them right away!
I'm not the one you asked, but me, I don't watch Netflix or anything; while my family watches a show, I sit in the room with them but read a book. And I'm a fast reader in my mothertongue, English books take me a little longer. My kids are already old enough to understand I need 1 hour a day for myself, and I had to learn the hard way, that I need to allow me that, even if the room looks like a big mess. But I had stress related health problems, and so 1 hour "doing nothing" but something that relaxes me is a priority. However, I often divide it in 2x 30 minutes. And I often use it to read. I also read on the bus, in the bath tub, or if I have a break and noone to speak to is around. I also do not look at insta or facebook, I only have YT. I think there are many small things that steal some time here and there, and we can steal it back and replace part of it with reading. But, when it comes to reading, those tiny slots are best to be combined into one or two longer periods. The main challenge is then, to really schedule it, and to really use it for yourself, for example reading for fun, and not to use it to iron that mountian of shirts.
I can totally understand not finding the time to read. I just have one Kid and I share the household responsibilities with my partner (he does at least 50%) and even though I have two jobs, none of them ever take up the whole day. And as @khan7459 said, I was shocked to see how much I can read if I stop watching Netflix and spend less time on social media. But I also haven't knitted much for example... I think I do have more time than many moms so a part of it is just the privilege of my current situation. I hope you find more time for reading and other fun stuff in the future!

i really like lidl underwears. Also bralettes from them. Maybe you can try them. Sure they maybe not survive sooo long years. But i use them 5-6 years already and they are really good shape. :)
