Nails are great for getting your hammer arm worked in and learning to streamline tecniques so you can run them sequentially and with the minimum number of strikes to get the nail you need at the end. Its a fascinating process and each smith eventually gets their own fingerprint or "nail" print version of how to work quickly and precisely to get the end product... So even if the actual nails from two different smiths are close to identical they're very unlikely to have been made the same way. thanks for sharing
